Who here is looking to attend the events live?
Do you usually attend WrestleMania but still not attending this year because of the pandemic?
If you plan on attending, are you going to one or both nights of the event?
Personally, I will be fully vaccinated just days before the event and was told by my doctor that even one dose of the vaccine can cover me very well from the virus. I will see how easy tickets are to get on Tuesday and might even attend this year!
I am curious on if the crowd size will be reluctant, or people will flock to buy tickets! 45,000 is a ton of people and I heard a rumor that WWE is not releasing tickets to people outside of the U.S. -- not sure if that is accurate but it seems likely to me.

Would love to attend but itβll sell out faster than a womenβs match pre-womenβs revolution

I'd rather watch it from the comfort of my home.
2 months later when the DVD comes out.

I thought for a brief minute βI could go for a nightβ and then thought about how dumb that would be. Even with safety precautions in place I have no desire to be around many people, especially not wrestling fans.

I am not. With pod seating and them wanting 45k with a 65k capacity, the tickets will be gone almost as soon as they go up.

Its not a thing of them releasing tickets to anyone outside of the US, it is the fact that most countries still have travel bans so they couldnt come even if they wanted to.

Going to WrestleMania with a bunch of nerds who don't wash their ass in the middle of a panorama? Yeah, thanks but no thanks.

Being someone who runs a merch stand at midwest/midsouth indy shows I can 100% back up the claim that a large number of wrestling fans have absolute terrible hygiene. There have been times where ive had to Febreze the merch area after someone leaves, then go wash my hands after i handled their money. Im not being mean, just 100% honest.

I would have gone if not for the travel ban, but I guess thatβs it for me and WrestleMania until Hollywood in 2023.

Assuming us Aussies can travel to the US soonish, Iβll see you fellas in Dallas next year... (and again at Mania 40 - Iβm guessing NYC for that bad boy)

When it was announced there was a brief moment where I thought about it. But itβs too sudden of an announcement for me. Itβs really hard for me to get time off from work, set up travel, figure out all the travel rules, and actually do the traveling. Then, I gotta figure out what the rules are when I get home. As they say, βThe juice isnβt worth the squeeze.β

This is the first WrestleMania in Florida, with fans, that I will NOT be attending. It makes me kind of bummed that the streak is broken.
By the same token, notwithstanding the lingering Covid concerns, the WWE product is not what it was, just a few years ago. Coupled with the last couple live events I've been to (pre-pandemic) being AEW shows... I'm just happy to watch the Peacock archives.
I thought I'd be depressed missing a Mania in person, but surprisingly, I feel nothing.

I legit thought about it because I love mania weekend and all the cool diverse fans and shows you can attend, plus I have a forced vacation mania week or I lose the hours in May. But at the end of the day Iβm just so emotionally over this pandemic and the toll it took on my mental well being and my wifeβs that I just donβt have it in me. Hereβs to next year!

I can't imagine making that cross country trip... even with health concerns aside... just seems way to inconvenient for a show that has a 50/50 chance of being meh.

I would have been. It sucks soooo much because I moved to LA in August for grad school and would have absolutely gone. I'm really sad that it got moved. I will be here for the next 4 years so I should be able to go when they come back in 2 years. I've gone to 5 WM's and this would have been such a great one to go to. It's hard to tell if they'll fill the 45k goal. A large portion of normal WMs are made up of international travelers - who will not be able to go this time. I think it might be too soon for even out of state people to have the confidence of traveling and such to go (especially considering most will not be vaccinated at that time). It will be interesting to see what happens. I think worse case scenario WWE will just comp the tickets out locally, and how sad that would be, knowing they'd easily go for several hundred dollars otherwise. Whatever happens, let's just finally hope and pray that next year things are under control enough for people to truly enjoy like before COVID at least when it comes to going to wrestling shows.
