Given the current discussion about it being hard to acquire new legends in the elite series let’s dive into the realm of complete fantasy....let’s say Mattel had the ability to recreate the entire CS lineup figure by figure & series by series exactly as Jakks released them but with Mattel quality elite scans....who would buy them & who wouldn’t? ....And aside from the obvious height/scale issues Jakks had, what other corrections would you want Mattel to make along the way?

Only figures that stand out from the Classics line that I would want are Zeus and Andy Kaufman. I’m sure there’s more but those two are my top wants that will likely never happen under Mattel.

But that said I would probably buy and pass on the same figures I bought and passed on with the CS line.

We pretty much got all of the CS1 attires in Mattel Elite form, except for Andre the Big Show with his two straps and knee pads. And no one wants that.

There's a few I suppose I could still potentially see re-released by Mattel, but across the set, there weren't a whole lot of figures in the market of legends signed independently that I felt I needed for my collection.
EDIT: I had no idea Jakks made a Killer Kowalski, and I'm definitely going to chase that figure down now.

Besides my usual goings of every McMahon figure and one of every woman, there aren't a ton here I'd buy that weren't already elites. Steve Blackman would probably be a buy for me. Al Snow would be a definite, especially if they could swing an accurate version of Head. (If not, it's not a dealbreaker, I have the original Jakks dollhead one.) I'd probably snag a bunch of the non-wrestlers like Mr. Fuji, Paul Bearer, Howard Finkle and Mean Gene. (Yes, I'm aware that those last 3 already have elites, but I don't own them and would like a shot at them.)
Although, all that said, there'd still be some not included that I'd want. That unreleased Marlena for one and a Gangrel is desperately needed to complete the Brood.

Series 9 - Godfther and LoD plus counter parts as they were not in matching outfits
Series 10 - Gorilla and Sabu
Series 11 - Moolah, Rick Steiner and 123 kid
Series 12 - Lou and Brawler
From 13 onwards far too many to mention.
So yeah I’d buy a lot. If it was my wish, I’d redo everyone who doesn’t already have an elite first, then at least all the ones that don’t have the exact same outfit in an elite.
