I've heard there are All star legends on previous NBA live games from the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's. So far playing NBA Live 08 I've seen absolutely no sign of them, do you have to unlock them or are they just not on the game this year? If that's the case its a huge let down.

You unlock them now and then for completeing the crown points thing. Go in the crown menu and press square to go into crown central. Then click showcase at the end and press L a couple of times and you'll see the logo's for teams but you can't see the actual team.
I've only unlocked the 80's team but some of the players from it are:
Kareem Abdul jabbar
Larry Bird
Julius Erving
Magic johnson
Moses Malone
Dominique wilkins
