Probably some I’ve seen that I don’t really remember because the majority of them I don’t care for, but finding and buying Pete Dunne was a great feeling. That’s actually the only one I’ve bought for myself with a “normal” release. The Rock and Undertaker were pretty plentiful as we know. The only one I wanted that I didn’t find was Paige, and to this point haven’t bought one on the secondary market.

Got almost all of them off of Ebay that I wanted the first in lines. Paid maybe about 10.00 bucks over retail for them with shipping was well worth it. Scored Kassius in a lot with Liv and Backlund for about 90.00 sold Liv already had her for 120.00 listed it up at .01 and people bid that high. All of mine are opened up for my collection. When ringside started got them all from them.

Who’s this Non Existence? And why did they get two collector’s edition spots!? E67 & E76. Talk about overkill!   Seriously though with the exception of the E72 Gorilla Monsoon I have seen every one of them multiple times at my area stores. Monsoon was on the pegs because she had just finished putting the case on the pegs but I forgot he was in that series so I didn’t check the last 4 figures on the pegs. Because Murphy, Strong, Batista and Lynch were the first two figures on the two pegs. And Ohno I only saw once and picked it up for a friend. |

I haven’t had much trouble with them but I haven’t been collecting as long as some of you guys. I’ve picked up Graham, Rocky Johnson, Undertaker and Bulldog in the wild. I also saw Mae Young and passed. That did take a lot of legwork but at least they showed up in my area.

In store I have seen Bulldog, Mae Young, Undertaker, Rocky Johnson, Backlund, Sherri, The Rock, Pat Patterson, Liv Morgan, Sonya, Ohno, Gorilla, Paige, Blassie and Billy Grahamm.
The only ones I have never personally seen were Dunne, Billie Kay, Peyton Royce, Alexander Wolfe, Anvil, and Briscoe.

Oh wow I had no idea! I guess I must have some sort of bias in thinking that her figure was never popular enough or hard enough to find. I assumed Kassius Ohno and Paige figures would go for much more than she would. It's probably because I was able to pick her up a few months ago on Mercari for like $39 that I assumed she would be around that price. |

The only ones I bought for myself were Backlund and Sherri. I didn't buy Royce or Taker for anyone. Monsoon is the one I wanted the most and my walmarts skipped his series. Then any time I reached out to a member of the "wrestling figure community" about Monsoon I was met with huge prices. I refuse to spend $80 plus a figure. I hate spending over $100 on camera stuff as it is and that's my profession.

Collector Editions are all BS. I’ve found them all but it took way too much effort. Constant searching because if you don’t find them case fresh odds are the CE will be gone. I don’t understand why Mattel thinks this is the way to go. At least give RSC a small allocation. You see multiple people feel the same, I’m one as well and I’ve been able to find every one. If distribution was way better fine but we all know it’s not. I went to 3 Walmart’s yesterday for them to have nothing even though it says in stock on brickseek. So needless to say it’ll be that way for a while and the employees by me are dumb and could care less about updating inventory.

In my entire life I have seen two collectors edition figures that weren't the IIconics. And the only reason I've seen so many IIconics is because, IIRC, they were packed 2 per case like a sort of CE Anchor figure. And the fact that half of all exclusives go to Target which I don't even have access to...
Yeah. I've had about enough of the Collectors Editions. They need to stop right now. It isn't like Target and Walmart are making a ton of extra cash off these. I doubt many people are going to Target to look for a CE and saying "Well, I didn't find the one I wanted, I'll buy all seven AJ Styles figures here instead!" Those CE figures sell the same price as any other figure at retail and all it does is hurt collectors.
Stop this immediately. If you must have your exclusives, put them back on RSE so everyone has a shot at them. These are causing nothing but harm to everyone except the scalpers.

I can't speak about the more modern/current roster CE figures - but if these Collector's Editions are the only way for certain figures to get released (eg. Gorilla Monsoon, Freddie Blassie, Billy Graham, Rocky Johnson, Mae Young etc.), then I'm all for them. I don't care how hard they are to find... at the end of the day, I'd much rather actually have the figure released than not released at all. |
