Not really one year, but I think they need to push WWE on getting complete tag teams signed, especially the New Gen era. We have a lot of Golden Era and Attitude era tag teams so New Gen is really lacking. And I'm not talking about giving us two dudes with attitudes. I wasn't watching consistently during Ruthless Agression but looking at the tag teams that held titles during that time, it seemed like it consisted mostly of mid carders and/or main eventers that were randomly thrown together. Looks pretty bad on paper. Angle/Benoit, Edge/Mysterio, and Eddie/Chavo were having better tag matches than most actual teams from the New Generation or Attitude Era. If you can still enjoy Benoit matches, they are 100% worth watching.

Either 1998-1999 or current stuff. Probably the current stuff though. There's current roster folks who haven't had Elites in years. Tamina has literally NEVER had an elite. Alexa Bliss is overdue for an update. Sami Zayn's last Elite was from 2018. They spammed TV with Best In The World Shane for a year and we never once got a Heel elite of his or the World Cup. We never got our Camo Adam Cole.
There's just so much going on right now that's lacking. Sure, do the other stuff too. But I think of what Ali said on RAW Talk about how "When do we get to walk that road" and it really hits hard over how the WWE spends too much time living in the past. The past was great, yes. But maybe if you stopped spending so much time looking in the rearview mirror, you could see the road ahead well enough to avoid those potholes you keep hitting.
But that's just me.

But that's just me. Its kind of scary to think that people talking about the 90s now is like people in the 90s talking about the 60s. The wrestling industry was in a rough period in 1992-1995, but promoters and fans werent yearning for stars of the 60s during that time.

2021. While I’m losing interest even in NXT now, there are some names there that are way overdue along with NXT UK that’d I’d like. I feel like they’re falling behind on a lot of names that have been there for over a year now. There’s also a lot of looks and attires on the main roster that seem like obvious choices for Elites that never happen.
Would always be happy to see more Attitude Era faces too.

New Generation Era ('94-'97):
Ahmed Johnson Henry O. Godwinn Dean Douglas Adam Bomb Jean Pierre-Lafitte Hakushi Duke 'Dumpster' Drosoe Man Mountain Rock Bertha Faye Aldo Montoya 1-2-3 Kidd (circa late '95 heel turn) The Sultan Justin 'Hawk' Bradshaw The Patriot Jeff Jarrett (Ultimate Edition would be siiiiick) Savio Vega Farooq (debut attire) Flash Funk WAYLON MERCY!!!
