What if...main event of Mania...crucial point in the match...Reigns is down...Edge is just starting to stir and Bryan is about to hit his knee...and...lights go out...come back on and who’s in the other corner waiting? KENNY ING OMEGA! Attacks Bryan and then Runs at him and BOOM V-Trigger! Picks him up...1 winged Angel! jumps out of the ring, walks backwards up the ramp and makes a gun pointing motion at a downed Bryan in the ring...and someone picks up the scraps and makes the pin.

If WWE actually would do business with AEW it would freshen up the very stale, very boring, very sterile and predictable product that WWE has become. It needs that feeling of unpredictability and “anything can happen” that has been missing for years and years. Imagine Rollins and Reigns showing up on AEW to help Moxley. Imagine Kenny Omega showing up on Smackdown to go after Daniel Bryan or Edge. This is exactly what wrestling needs. Let’s see if Vince can answer the call or if he is going to continue to keep WWE in a bubble until he suffocates it.Vince rn

Kinda cool but that this is happening, I wonder how many things they won't be allowed to discuss though. That's the problem with these documentary style shows that on the network I imagine Vince put in a crap load of censored subjects, but gives just enough away to make it seem legit.
I whole heartedly hope they, AEW and WWE, Don't work together. I watch 2 hours of dynamite and just condense raw and smackdown into half an hour of the things I'm entertained by, I don't want to have to watch more WWE product just to see the AEW guys.

This is gonna be amazing. I mean, WWE already works with Cricket, a WarnerMedia holding, so why not a show on TNT?

Overall I see a healthy bit of AEW discussion in the last X amount of minutes; this helps AEW and WarnerMedia (our guy was on Peacock, maybe he will bring interest to Warner!) and WWE (we let a Warner guy on our show, maybe their fans will subscribe to Peacock!). More than anything, I don’t think Vince sees this as amounting to anything world-changing, so he let it happen. Well, he sees it as something that could help him, and doesn’t care if it helps the other guys, so he lets it occur. He cooperated with TNA because they were junior players, but notice he never cooperated with WCW until March 26, 2001 when he killed them. One day Warner’s pro wrestling may kill NBC’s - or vice versa - but we’ve got a while to go.

Jericho is on good terms with Vince and Vince ok’d it. Some weird fantasy WWE/AEW working relationship isn’t going to happen. Wrestling fans always jump to the wildest conclusion they can.

VKM doesn’t have a past of healthy relationships with other promotions. I don’t see that changing now.
It’s one interview with Chris Jericho. It’s exciting and unexpected, but some people’s expectations are insanely high.

It’s exciting and unexpected, but some people’s expectations are insanely high. To be fair, no one is expecting anything to happen beyond Austin interviewing Jericho, which in-and-of-itself is unbelievable and fantastic all at the same time considering how this industry works. The fantasy booking is just that, fantasy - and we've lamented how wrestling has been stale since the Attitude Era. Wouldn't something as unpredictable as a WWE/AEW collab be the kickstarter wrestling needs? We all know Reigns and Rollins aint helping Mox, or Kenny aint fighting Daniels in a 5-star classic; but "what if" - imagine how we all would be hyped for wrestling again. AEW at least is reaching out to collab with companies like TNA and NJPW so who knows.

Knowing Vince he probably has no clue what AEW is. He likely thinks Jericho has been on a Fozzy tour for the past 3 years.

This will be the first thing that Jericho has done in the last three years I will actually watch. And it also goes to show you that Vince does not see AEW as any kind of a threat anymore. That's why he called Big Show and congratulated him on going to AEW. That's why he didn't bother to give Christian a contract. Andrade? He can sign wherever he wants now. It is like what Corny said, let Tony Khan spend all this money on whoever he can bring in because at the end of the day, it's not drawing any more people that would make it significant. And it's also a good move because it'll bring more viewers to a WWE show rather than a AEW show.
And after? Nothing will happen. AEW won't "invade" WWE.

The unbridled hate some people hold for an "insignificant" product is honestly quite sad. Even though Vince himself theoretically doesn't care one way or another.

That was really cool. Kinda surreal seeing a photo of Jericho holding the aew title on a WWE Network show with stone cold. I know we'll probably never get a real aew/WWE supercard, but I love this type of cross promotion. Wrestling is much better when both companies exist and thrive.

It was very cool seeing Jericho on there, and the fact they talked a lot about AEW is pretty cool.
To me it also shows that Vince doesn't feel AEW is any threat, because at the end of the day the WWE will still be the King of sports entertainment.
