Was the all-stars green Macho Man a bit of a mashup? I don't remember the bright green trunks having stars on them??? It was. Bill/Mattel swears there are pics of him wearing it with stars but literally nobody else has seen them. Still a nice figure though. |

What would be the best jeans fig to put chase Macho’s arms, shirt, head, and accessories on? AE HHH, AE Stone Cold, nWo Cena? Am I forgetting a jeans elite fig that has a plain chest torso?

I'd go with AE HHH. I like the light wash they did on those jeans. The only downside is that without a torso swap, the figure is going to be too tall. The Cena would probably be the most accurate height without a torso track. |

I pretty much collect all machos until he started wearing pants and cowboy hats. The 80’s macho era is my favorite.
-The light purple trunks are memorable for me because he had a trio of MSG title matches against hogan in late 85/early 86 and he wore those trunks for all of them
-The pinks are obviously from the greatest match of all. He also wore the pinks in sept 1987 SNME when honky hit him with the guitar
-the yellows weren’t used a lot but famous for the foreign object in the trunks feb 86 when he took the IC from Tito.
They had a bunch of rematches after that at the garden where you got to see the orange, red, and yellow again
-the oranges he wore in the WM4 title match and would wear them form his champ promo shoots before he got an entire new set of trunks
-the reds I’m surprised mattel didn’t make because there were a nice solid red and he wore them a lot during the later part of 1986 which includes the steamboat throat injury. I would say out of all his colors, the red and pinks were his newest editions and then he would rotate until he won the HW champ
-the blues are a rarity and you’d be lucky to see him in action with them. Mostly from 1984
-the greens he wore early also. 1984 era before the purples. Sometimes you’d see him in them during 1985. He first introduced Elizabeth in the greens
-after he won the HW title, around the summer he got new trunks which had a more dazzle material to them. He had orange (WM5), green, and mega powers yellow.
-last time is saw him in trunks that said macho man was the silvers for SS89.
I’d Like to see all his trunks made in one way or another but glad we got a bunch of the more famous ones already.

Still a nice figure though. i actually do recall seeing a picture on instagram at some point of macho man at a live event wearing the bright green trunks with blue knee pads. i have no idea where to even begin searching for that pic though. i’m gonna try to keep an eye out for it now regardless of if it exists or not, pretty weird deep cut attire choice to use when there were many better options |

Did macho ever wear the defining moments figures shade of trunks. Could it be used for different attire. He wore them quite a bit. When I think of Macho Man that’s the attire I picture him in. Same here! |

I’m someone that just can’t do customs, they make me itchy AF. I feel like if Mattel make a mistake or mash up it’s just part of that figures history...HOWEVER, I think I’ve convinced myself that as long as they are genuine Mattel accessories and they are intended for that wrestler, I can deal with it...so putting the DM Robe on the upcoming WM3 Legends Macho I’m on board with. It makes a complete genuine look of WM3 and the DM still serves a purpose as we know Macho did wear that attire!
Psycho I know but hey, we all have something, right?! 😅
