I have a meager interest in Japanese wrestling, but this figure is sweet! I’d totally get it if it wouldn’t stick out like a sore or thumb in my collection. Awesome fig!

Yeah, cant remember the exact prices on the previous Ligers but definitely feels like there's some kind of price increase. I've been trying to figure out what makes this exclusive too cause it doesn't say Ringside exclusive....?

most storm collectibles figures are around $84 so $66 for this is a deal. I LOVE higher end figures but it seems like most wrestling fans stick to the $20 figures

Not to be that guy but how many Ligers are they gonna make? Seems like there are ample dudes they could partner with.

Storm figures used to be $65 for all regular sized figures across all their lines but, have gone up within the last 3 years or so. Mafex too actually. I also think it depends on the license too. Storm was able to release the Gears of War Locust Disciple, which was a larger sized figure, for only $65. And the Golden Axe skeletons were originally $65 for the 2 pack.

I'm hoping they make a few more to be honest. It sucks that the Supershow '93 variant was a limited release so most weren't able to get it. Would love to see black/white, j-crown gold, '89 ver.2, and kishin versions too.

Not digging the hair sculpt. And where are his horns? He didn't have horns... Holy cow. I never knew he looked like that. My apologies for the critical comment. My first introduction to him was at Clash of the Champions XIX. So this attire is from early in his career, I take it? It kind of has an Ultraman look to it.

So this attire is from early in his career, I take it? It kind of has an Ultraman look to it. It's his debut attire. I'm not sure it lasted very long though, as he introduced a horned mask soon after. I wish Storm Collectibles had included it as an alternate head, given that there's no entrance cape or anything with this one.

In place of a cape, I wished he came with the IWGP Jr belt at least since he was still wearing the debut attire when he won that. Seems like a second release with the gold horned mask is inevitable though. Other than a belt, a second release could come with those football shoulder pads he wrote when he lost the title.
