I just really want that Kane without having to pay 40.00 scalper prices but I'm wondering if it's time to just cave in, my work is still trapped with countless Summerslam elites that aren't going away anytime soon and they are filled to the brim with them leaving little hope my store will actually get them in, I wanted the kane since I found out about it since it's a remake of the RSC one years ago which was my 2nd dream figure with first being S.E.S Punk, i'm just hoping Amazon or even RSC at this point gets them in stock

You never know. There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason with these releases anymore. It would be nice to have a chance of getting one at retail after my preorder got canceled

It certainly would be nice, I never once saw Kane anywhere (Same with Big Show) but I already have the original RSC so no love lost.
That said I'm glad I managed to get Warrior at retail, I don't think my Target ever got this set in.

Anything is possible, but I don't think it's likely. With the number of figures on each shipper, I think the full allocation was packed out. They just went fast.
But who knows. These exclusives are obviously a huge mess.

I got it from a guy who bought it from a company in the UK , which won’t ship until sometime next month, so if I find it cheaper I’ll cancel the order and get it. |

The problem is, We Don't Know... If you want a more direct answer, ask steve privately or on his thread post the question. The fact that RSC is getting some of the new royal rumble sets that where suppose to go to target is at least a good sign. |

I was finally able to order RR Warrior, Austin, and Titus for retail. I passed on Umaga since I have his previous elite which represents the peak of his run.
I don’t think Amazon will get DOD but I would love it if they did. I still need Kane and Big Show. Collecting would be so much easier and cheaper if Amazon got all the exclusives.

People were finding DoD everywhere, barely any Rumble figures could be found. Like series 2 of DoD was the first time in years a Walmart set was available easily

I seen the whole set of DoD at Walmart, they were out for about 2 weeks then they were all put on sale for $8

I have a gut feeling that there is some more dod 2 in a mattel warehouse somewhere. Just like i think there are more elite 72 gorilla monsoon cases out there collecting dust. The problem is, if there is it will take 6-12 months or more for discount stores to get them. I take the walmart flashbacks series 3 as exhibit A in mattels incompetence. Some liquidation seller is still making a killing off of them right now after we all thought there was none left for over a year. I am starting to think mattel wait a certain period of time 6,12,18 months on purpose before getting rid of old unsold product. |
