More on the money you couldn’t be. I say the same thing, at least the first time I thought, well he just got the crap kicked out of him. If anything I said, he’s tough I guess! The second time, Dana White put a win on a tee for him and said, here ya go. If you have ANY MMA SKILL AT ALL, here ya go. If a UFC fight was ever fixed, this is the one I’d put my money on. Something was up, and Dana White knows it looked bad because you haven’t seen either of those 2 in the UFC again. But yea, Punk looked awful, he erased any fantasy I could have that this guy can fight. Seeing him in pro wrestling beat somebody now, would make me roll my eyes because I know what I saw in UFC. Do I actively sit here and say, I wonder if Stone Cold could beat up Mike Tyson for real? No, I don’t know, I DOUBT IT, but I don’t know. With Punk now, I know, and it kills the suspension of disbelief in my eyes. It was the most damning thing he could have transitioned to and failed at because it sucked all his value down the drain with that failure. Not because he couldn’t win, but because he couldn’t even throw a KICK or PUNCH! He had no business being in a octagon with professionals, he looks like he couldn’t beat me in a fight and I’m not exaggerating. I saw Punk a year and a half ago at C2E2 in Chicago (and with nobody in line to meet him) and he looked so tiny and scrawny, and I know people who have seen him biking around the city as recent as a month ago, he's still tiny looking. I agree. If I had a legit fight with him, I like my chances. Lol that’s funny about him having no line. Iv just been soured on him, his attitude, everything. Just thinking of him doing those spinning kicks against Mike Jackson, ugh my God. He’s never fought another human being in his life and he certainly hasn’t won. Blah Not only is he paper thin now, his head never healed from that fight with Mickey Gaul. After he left WWE, he cleaned himself up, he was looking to be in great shape. Now, he’s got a crooked, dented head and his face looks like somebody went over it with the drag tool in photoshop. Mickey Gaul beat him ugly...literally!

Honestly if he'd have called it quits after the first one he could have kept some of his aura. He was humiliated but he really didn't have a chance to show IF he could fight. The 2nd fight he had proved he couldn't.I liked him in his first run, but just don't think at this point I'd have any interest in Punk when everybody knows he couldn't even beat up a guy who legitimately looked like he was trying to let him win.More on the money you couldn’t be. I say the same thing, at least the first time I thought, well he just got the crap kicked out of him. If anything I said, he’s tough I guess! He couldn't throw a punch, or a kick, and certainly couldn't take a punch. I think the idea that Jackson was paid (by someone) to take a dive, and Punk was so useless that it couldn't happen is not that farfetched (Jackson isn't even looking at him when he ground and pounds him). Credit to Punk for making some serious money in the UFC and everything but that 2nd fight was legitimately more embarrassing than Bart getting knocked out by Butterbean by a long stretch. Punk trained for 3 or 4 years with the top trainers in the world. I honestly had no idea somebody could be so unathletic.

Bart Gunn never claimed to be a boxer. That’s a perfect comparison actually. Bart Gunn COULD throw a punch, he proved that. He couldn’t box though, big difference. Here’s the thing though, he’s a wrestler not a boxer and that Brawl 4 All was a carnival show. Punk WAS in the UFC, and he did his best to devalue it. I was convinced then, hearing Joe Rogan say it LITERALLY during the broadcast hammered it home, and thinking of it now I’m certain something fishy was going on. You’re right, he wasn’t even looking at him and he was looking as if to be told like what should I do? He couldn’t win a fixed fight haha, wtf man. You’re last line legit cracked me up haha, so true man. It’s just like, damn, how can I ever look at this person the same? If he won a wrestling match now, the jokes just write themself.

First get him on 'the Broken Skull Sessions'... then gradually build up to the match (with a full crowd), everyone wants to see, at WM 38 - Austin vs Punk. Austin comes out of retirement for one final match in Dallas, and Punk gets the dream match he's always wanted. He chose to walk away from the WWE and wrestling because he was scheduled to wrestle Triple H at Wrestlemania and he felt he deserved to be in the main event and be WWE Champion.... that pretty much sums up being a fan of yourself. He did deserve to be in the main event though - especially at either 28 or 29. He was screwed over time and time again... So why stick around? It's still sounds like a joke, to say that Miz has main-evented WM, and an inferior performer like Reigns has now headlined FIVE consecutive 'manias... and yet the absolute best talent in the company, at the time, wasn't extended the courtesy of appearing in one WM main-event. I don't think by stretch of the imagination that Punk should have been in the main event over Rock/Cena at 28. It'd have been repeating theHHH/Jericho mistake from WM18. I think you could argue he should have been in a triple threat for Mania 29 though.

punk was the best thing we've seen on the mic in the last 15+ years in wwe, so if he wants to return I'm down, but it's pretty clear he doesn't. I wasn't ever crazy about his in ring work to begin with, but no one talks better.

I'm not saying you're totally wrong, but...wwe booked Ronda Rousey as a badass striker after we all saw that she cant throw hands, and mfs bought it all the way to a year long undefeated streak and a WM main event.

Yea but, I can tell you, as somebody who doesn’t watch UFC, i only knew Ronda as a badass UFC lady. So if anything else, she was marketed good haha. And there is no way, NO WAY she has ever looked as bad in a UFC fight as Punk did in his. She at least has won fights.

Ronda single handedly got women into the UFC, she went 12-2 in MMA overall. It was in no way unbelievable that she could deck any of the other ladies on the roster.

I think a good watch along of Punks fights would refresh some folks memories haha, I think there may be some memory loss as to just how awful he was at MMA. At 1 point in the second fight, the trainers yell “knee...knee....knee” like 5 times and I swear, Punk throws a worked knee at Michael Jackson, and the dude leans into it lmao. At another point in the fight, Jackson has Punk down in a mount, and the only thing keeping Punk from escaping, is that his legs are wrapped around Jackson...lol seriously wtf. I can think of no greater insult than he couldn’t win a fixed fight lol. That’s bad He was awful, AWFUL at MMA. He had as much business in an MMA world as I do, and there is 0 exaggeration in that. Ronda would kill that dude. What I’m saying is, if Mike Jackson just stood there the entire fight (which isn’t far off from what actually happened), I don’t think Punk could knock him out or submit him. He’s THAT bad at physicality
