Smackdown is usually great but tonight it was just....fine
Nothing really happened. McAfee was good in his first week.

Dude has won 3 Mania matches ] They meant to say it’s the first time he won a one-on-one match at Wrestlemania, which also isn’t true, provided they consider last year’s pre-show match canon or not.

I’m pretty sure I’ve heard them reference the match during Main Event when Gulak is competing recently. But I’ll be perfectly honest, I never even put 2 and 2 together to realize Cesaro won that singles match.

It’s wild to me that Smackdown is such a good show despite Ziggler and Bob Roode being the tag champions. I’m surprised how well they gel. Also goes to prove the fact that Roode is meant to be a tag team wrestler.

Pat was damn awesome. I had higher expectations because I know how good he is but wow. Great stuff. Pretty good episode overall. Almost night & day compared to RAW

I honestly can’t figure out why so little of consequence has happened this week on Wwe tv. It’s so odd. Viking Raiders returning and Retribution helping MVP is weak AF. SmackDown seems pretty screwed. I wasn’t a fan of making Edge and Bryan whiney egomaniacs before WrestleMania, and right now I don’t want to see either of them challenge Reigns. But it’s not like there’s anybody else, either. Cesaro is not top babyface material, his awkwardness as a character/personality is not good. Maybe Nakamura would be okay for a month if he’d had the momentum of winning the battle royal. SmackDown needs to parachute someone into the top babyface role - I’d probably go with Jeff Hardy.

They put a lot of effort into putting Cesaro over last night. They showed that replay of him spinning Rollins so many times... Seems like a good thing though as it looks like he'll be the next challenger for Reigns' title.
Roode and Ziggler continue to impress as a team regardless of how weird the pairing was originally. I'm digging the feud with the Profits a ton.
Alpha Academy and The Mysterios are filling the role of undercard teams perfectly right now.
Still not a big fan of the Baszler and Jax pairing and I pretty much tune out of their stuff.
I really like McAfee and the effort he puts into commentary.
Good show. I was hoping they'd go big after Wrestlemania but oh well, I still enjoyed the show.

Ive never been "all in" on Smackdown, even back when Bliss was carrying the division Id just tune in for her matches, but with Pat on commentary I may just have to make sure I watch every episode. Its crazy to think he was "rumored" as a possible spot on MNF and the NFL passes him up and he lands on Smackdown. That's a win for WWE

But Cesaro has been pinned once all year & Jeff 8 times.
