That’s fine as I was never planning of getting it. Which was it empty shelves or 20 Angles? If it was 20 Angles then clearly the shelves weren’t empty. There was 20 Angles. Maybe the shelves for marvel legends, transformers, etc were empty 😀😄 That’s been the Monroe NY WalMart since Christmas. Well they did get two cases of the X-Men set a few weeks back. But they were gone within 2 days. And this week was the first time they’ve had a McFarlane DC figure since the Grim Knight wave last summer.

I thought it was a great two pack. Bought it when it was first released. It probably took so long to sell out because rsc kept ordering more.

I was gonna buy an extra set to be able to make make a proper team extreme later on down the road if they ever make a Jeff like they did with Bulldog but decided it wasn’t worth it.

That’s fine as I was never planning of getting it. Everyone in Canada has had nightmares about that Angle figure considering you'd always walk into a Toys'R'Us with empty shelves and 20 Angles. Which was it empty shelves or 20 Angles? If it was 20 Angles then clearly the shelves weren’t empty. There was 20 Angles. Empty other than Angle because he doesn't count. At that point most people just considered him as part of the stores foundation.

I’m surprised too. I love the Brood Hardy’s! My favorite Hardy’s for sure. I remember when they debuted the theme that would become their most famous Hardy theme, it sounded like an awesome Brood-ish type theme. I still think of it that way even though they’ve had it for so long now, it was an awesome spin off of Gangrels theme

Ironically, I just purchased a set off of Amazon last week. I had one in my cart on ringside a couple of weeks back because I planned on using an extra set for fix ups. I decided to wait too long and paid double. Huge regret... Anyways, as far as this set goes it was one of my favorite exclusives Mattel and Ringside have done.. I thought they executed the package and it gave me an early nostalgic Jakks vibe. The figures themselves also look great and I appreciate the minor details like the necklaces. The only thing I could criticize is the fact that the shirt hang over the belt loops. I feel like molded shirts would of been more appropriate. The molded shirt thing is something I still don’t understand about Mattel and Jeff Hardy’s. They’ve developed countless new molds and for some reason refuse to give Jeff his own unique torso.

The Hardy's are my biggest "why are they over" team ever. I wouldnt take this if it was free.

Did you play close to retail?

I think it retailed for about $60ish originally or so on ringside. I paid $82 shipped on Amazon. I remember seeing it for $48 on Ringside a while back though... I’m actually contemplating on opening it now.

I preordered this set wayback when and use it as my Team Xtreme Hardyz (They're close enough if you swap Jeff's shirt from the 2-pack)
I'm shocked it didn't sell out sooner given Matt leaving for AEW and Hardyz typically sell like gangbusters. Packaging was killer as always too.

One of my favorite Mattel products ever, and one of the few pieces of any kind that I've ever bought one to open and one to keep MOC. The Double Slam IV vibes are awesome.
