I’m up by 5am & out the door at 6am. I like it cause I finish my day before or at noon. I work outdoors so with summer coming it’s better for me to be working in early morning temps of 70-80F & be done when the temp is 85-100F plus.
A few summers ago I was working in 100+ Temps & I stopped sweating. I went in the shade, drank water, waited a bit walked to the truck then blasted the A/C. Drove home & just stayed indoors for the rest of the day.

What do you do for work that your boss doesn’t care? I guess as long as you’re a good worker and your job gets done some don’t. I'm a graphic designer for a small company. I think he doesn't care because I still show up everyday and get my work done. Some of the other managers will sometimes make a joke about it to bust my balls or make a comment but I've never gotten in any trouble for it and I still get positive annual reviews/raises/bonsues. I'm sure if it was a big company it wouldn't fly. That’s the problem with these companies. They wanna nit pick some people and the good workers always get crapped on instead of letting some things go.

If I don't have to go anywhere, I love waking up early. I can't stand waking up for work, though. I'm late to work by at least a few minutes nearly everyday and it's been this way for years. My boss surprisingly doesn't care. I'm very much like this. I get resentful if my job dictates too much of my life. If I have to be at work for say, 8am, I'm getting up around 6 or earlier. So that way my morning still feels like it's mine and I avoid any kind of crunch/rush to get to work. Have a coffee, watch the sports highlights, maybe run an errand. The point is that it's my time.

I would like to be this way but I know it will never happen. One thing that helps me stay motivated to do it is the nature of my jobs. I'm usually in some sort of counselling or public service job. I rarely get time to myself and am often trying to find ways to solve people's problems. If I didn't have my morning time to myself, I'd go batshit.

Anywhere from 4.45 to 6.45. I haven't woke up past 7.30am unless I was drinking the night before since 2017

My boss surprisingly doesn't care. I hated mornings until my schedule became empty. My sleep schedule is non existent. I usually stay up 20 hours and then sleep for 12 so my days are about a day and a half. I'll wake up at 6 AM on day then 9 AM the next then 3 PM then just yesterday at 10 PM. Having no job hits different.

Gonna get a part time job again to save up for wrestling school, then I'm done with non-wrestling work. If I have to live in a car I'll do it as long as I can put all of my energy into wresting.

Go to bed around 11 or noon. Get up at 7:30pm. Get to work around 9pm. Leave somewhere between 6-8am, depending on the day. Five days a week, usually.... though I just worked 11 days in a row, had two days off, and worked 11 in a row again. , I'm tired.

7:45-8am.... I start work at 8:30, so it just depends on how much time I need to get ready. Ergo how long it'll take for my speed and coffee to hit me. Then I'll chug a few red bulls and I'm fine.
And I hate it, because I'm always hungover from the day before and never truly catch up on sleep until Friday-Sat-Sun. But the end of the day is so rewarding. I enjoy working because it gives me a check, and I'm also very good at what I do.
It's a tradeoff. I haven't missed a day of work since I started, or been late. By 5:00pm when it's time to clock-out, I don't feel like crashing (and literally can't) so it's just annoying to know you're going to wake up tired the next day no matter what you do. That's where the hate comes from. I wake up quickly, though, and then it's just a new day. Junk kills, speed lives...

I used to wake up at 2:40pm everyday and work from 3:00pm to midnight. That was dark and depressing. I am so happy I changed shifts before they stopped allowing that.
I kept my 2:40 alarm on my phone anyway, just to remind me that the day is almost over and not just beginning as it was before. I was up all night, keeping people up, no social life at all.... It was just horrible. It had me extremely depressed from the lack of sunlight too.

I suffer from a clinical case of "No Sleep Schedule"
I go to bed when my body crashes and wake up when it decides it doesn't want to sleep anymore.
No amount of alarms, sleep aids, training, coercion, anything has been effective in changing this.
