Lots of articles spread online when Paul Wight signed with AEW, but I don’t remember anything about his release from WWE that would have occurred before that. Did I miss the coverage?

I see. I’m just surprised the Observer or a similar dirtsheet wasn’t able to get hold of the contract end date and publish it. At the same time, I guess these sources aren’t able to get hold of every bit of information under the sun, and with Show maybe they figured it wasn’t worth covering since they assumed he’d just re-sign.

His Twitter bio and handle was changed the day before. He even replied to a tweet from Brian Myers saying he was loyal to WCW or something like that.
