I mean if he truly is to blame for mailing the belongings from people’s lockers in a trash bag then he deserves it.

Good. That was a really insulting thing to do

I have a hard time believing that he was fired for this. Other women have come out and said that it happened to them over a decade ago.
This sounds more like they were trying to get rid of him and found a reason. They get rid of an employee and get good PR out of it.

It's a top down issue but Mark the heater hasn't covered himself in glory by all accounts.

Maybe I'm low maintenance, but I don't really understand what the big deal of it being sent in a black bag is. Yes, I know it's commonly a trash bag, but how else would it be shipped realistically?

In which case Mickie James has been fired twice in the last decade, nothing was said then. Did she expect her belongings in a golden box or something?

Here is what I do not get, How does Mickie have belongings that need to be shipped? She just leave her stuff in the Locker room of the Thunder dome? Don't most wrestlers always take their stuff with them? Its not like she had an office to clean out.

I guess it's pretty common to have a travelling drawer essentially of things you just leave at work. Makeup, 'heavier' gear, etc. They took some stuff home but some stuff they basically left in travelling lockers/drawers.

Sorry but if my job consisted of 24/7 traveling, I either have the stuff I need or keep it at home. Plus with them not traveling the last year, I was her stuff not with her already? Also would it had been better if the bag was white so it did not look like a garbage bag? Most people when cleaning out your office or locker, grab the most likely bag handy to hold a a lot of stuff, Hefty garbage bag.

I have a hard time believing he was fired for just this. Has to be more to the story.
Regarding this specifically, I can see Carrano telling some intern to collect the belongings of the recently released performers to mail them back. Considering the WWE isn’t a clothing outlet, and that the majority of the belongings are likely clothing, I’d find it likely that they didn’t have anything but garbage bags lying around to put the items in. So they put the clothing in the garbage bags, then box them up and ship them out.
I find this far easier to believe than some conspiracy theory that Carrano was sending a message to them by sending them their items in a trash bag. And the funny thing is bagging them first before boxing them up prevents them from being ruined by any potential liquid damage. If anything they did the performers a favor by bagging them first before boxing them.

My favorite part of this thread is the conjecture on the part of people who, in all likelihood, are not employed in a performing capacity with the WWE being like "What could she have even had? I wouldn't have had stuff!"

If they can keep it in a traveling drawer rather than always having to check extra luggage flying etc, why wouldn't they? Likewise if they can just leave it at the Thunderdome, why would they take it home? Traveling is already a pain for them since they have to do all their own Hotel and transportation arrangements, not having to worry about all your gear is just one less thing to have to account for. It's not like they're allowed to do independents so they don't really need it with them. Admittedly while I can see how it looks kinda tacky, I probably would have just shoved it all in a garbage bag too.

Most people when cleaning out your office or locker, grab the most likely bag handy to hold a a lot of stuff, Hefty garbage bag. With them mainly staying in the same building most of the last year, I could see people just leaving stuff there for convenience. Regardless of whether or not it was even stuff that’s “needed” it’s still her personal property and WWE has to send it to her. For example, I have some keychains in the wall in my office for decoration. They’re insignificant, but if I was fired, my company would send them to me just so I can’t say they fired me and stole my stuff. I can see why the garbage bag is disrespectful. As an outsider, it’s easy to say it’s just a bag meant to hold stuff. But if you’ve just been fired, it likely stings to get your stuff in a garbage bag. It’s kind of like saying “You’re garbage, and your stuff is garbage.”
