Yeah I can totally see how it comes across that way even if it wasn't intentional. Sucks because no way to know if it was intentional or just not really thinking about it that way. I probably would've gotten fired too. Would have been no ill intent I just would've found it the easiest way to pack everything up and get it shipped safely. Garbage bags are generally waterproof, and the clothes would pad the makeup etc.

Good. that dude. He always did seem like a tool. Which is wild to see people defending him. But given the amount of tools that have supporters, no big surprise there I guess.

I’m not quite understanding why this is such a big deal. Clearly Mickie was not singled out in this method of sending talent their belongings. Others have said they got the same thing, and it’s been said to be happening that way for a long time. Surely if it was that big of a deal someone else would’ve either brought light to already, and/or action would’ve been taken previously.

It should’ve been in TWO boxes.

It should have been packed like most members here want their figures shipped to them. Think of the uproar if the WWE was Amazon. The ring gear was your figure. And the garbage bag was a padded envelope.

Plus with them not traveling the last year, I was her stuff not with her already? Also would it had been better if the bag was white so it did not look like a garbage bag? Most people when cleaning out your office or locker, grab the most likely bag handy to hold a a lot of stuff, Hefty garbage bag. You just said it right there. They haven't been traveling. They're working in the same building every time they go to work. That building has a locker room area. Why wouldn't you leave stuff there instead of dragging it back and forth to work every day? The question I have is, why not just let them come get their stuff? If they're worried that Mojo is going to cap Carrano, couldn't he just do that somewhere else anyway? That's part of the problem with making release date some morbid event. They could have quietly pulled people aside, wished them well, had them pack up their crap, say their goodbyes, and then escort them out of the building. Also, I don't know where you've worked, but over the last twenty years, I've worked in several office and non-office areas, and when someone leaves they're always given a box or two to pack up their crap. I have never seen anyone shoving their stuff in a Hefty bag. Now, is it a big deal? No. When I was moving, I shoved a bunch of stuff in garbage bags just to move it quickly too, but it does look just slightly crapty on the outside. It's not JUST this, it's the (apparent) culture that has been created in the company. Besides, if the bag was shipped in a box, why couldn't the items have just been packed in that box?

And the garbage bag was a padded envelope. The garbage bag was in a box though. Right, but why wasn’t it packed correctly instead of everything just thrown in a bag that was then thrown in the box? We don’t know what was in the bag but I am sure it was bouncing around inside the box. What if it got damaged because of it? Just thinking about what I kept in my locker at UPS or gym back in the day besides clothes there was soap, shampoo, deodorant. I am guessing there was at least that and probably makeup. So that was all just thrown in a trash bag together. What if stuff opened because the box wasn’t packed correctly? They could have shown some respect and taken more than a minute and packed it correctly.

I'm sure I've tossed my dirty laundry in at trash bag, but I think there's a big difference in you throwing your belongs in a trash bag vs some WWE lackey. At minimum, the classier option would be to send someone to Wal-Mart for actual laundry bags, even those clear baggy things that you suck the air out with a vacuum. I'm sure everyone has seen those.

It's not JUST this, it's the (apparent) culture that has been created in the company. Besides, if the bag was shipped in a box, why couldn't the items have just been packed in that box? In most businesses, if they let you go, they want you off the property as soon as possible which is why they often ship an ex-employees items from their desk back to them. It has to do with not wanting to create a negative atmosphere or outwardly addressing with those still there what happened, and well as not creating a liability if something were to go down with the ex-employee there (they trip and hurt themselves, hurt someone else, etc...). The WWE not letting an ex-employee come and get their belongings themselves is pretty standard in the business world. Typically if it’s a CEO leaving or the breakup is mutual, yeah they’ll let you pack your stuff, but in most cases, “grunt” people usually arn’t afforded that option.

I get most big companies are like this, but it’s crazy this is the way it’s been handled for so long and the people at the tippy top are just finding out about it now and everyone associated with the procedure are just gone. Which in a way sucks because I’m sure there are people who are just doing what they were told by people above them. But I’m always for a culture change and a change in the way things are done which by all accounts Triple H, Stephanie, and some others are actually trying to change for the better.
