Is it officially over for Daniel?
Bryan is scheduled to face Roman and if Bryan loses, he is gone from Smackdown.
We know Bryan has been open about wrapping up soon but I didn’t know it would be this soon.
Do you think it’s over or will there be a screwy finish next week?

My gut says Bryan wins by DQ because Edge attacks him leading to a match at Backlash.

Like others have said I would guess Edge gets involved but I would love to see him go to NXT for a few months before he's done.

Man, how awesome would it be for him to show up on NXT a month later, take the North American title off Gargano and hold a weekly open challenge? I think it's something he's love and look at all the guys he could make look a million bucks, even in defeat. Lumis, Grimes, Knight, Strong, Reed, Kushida, Escobar 🤤
Whoever beats him would be set too, or even give Johnny his win back. Maybe have him dip his toes in the main event scene afterwards too. I wouldn't give him the title or that, but a win against Bryan for O'Reilly or Cole would be huge. I think a match with Kross would be fascinating as well.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think Bryan and Balor have had a high profile match against each other. That would be a bit of a dream match that could be a finally for both in NXT.
Obviously highly unlikely, but I'd like to think Bryan would have enough sway now that if he wanted to, they'd let him.

They are trying to get a boost in ratings. I do think it'll be his last match, well, until he shows up in AEW I'm guessing. There really isn't anything for him to do in WWE anymore.

His contract is up in September so this will not be it.

There are literally tons of people in the Wwe I would like to see him feud with. Rollins, McIntyre, Lashley, Edge, Aleister Black, Riddle, Keith Lee, Adam Cole, Kyle O”Reilly....the list goes on and on. He has plenty to do. |
