Never mind the current, who do we think the future face of the future WWE era is? I wanna say it’s Adam Cole, but if Vince is still around, it’ll probably go to someone like Kona Reeves or something. Bronson Rechsteiner, Parker Boudreaux, Jakob & Drew Kasper are the future.

Sammertino Backland Hogan/Failed attempt to make Warrior a equal or a close second. Bret Hart Shawn Michaels in a way was the man/face in 1996/1997 Steve Austin The Rock took over with his face run in late '99/2000 with Triple H being the top bad guy in the company. Austin's return and Rock and him somewhat both be the face; but Rock I felt grew a little bigger then Austin by this point. Lesnar was being marketed slowly as the face; with Angle being huge torchcarrier. Lesnar left; and in way Triple H was holding the title in the way.
Cena was the face of the WWE from 2005-2014; where I think between 2014-2017 Cena took a smaller role and to the point of becoming a part timer. However; WWE did well in creating other household names of this period.
Where one may say in 2005-2010; WWE used Cena as the top good guy of Raw; and with Batista mainly as the top good guy of SmackDown. With Jeff Hardy and Rey Mysterio trailing as other huge crowd favorites. With guys like Triple H; Shawn Michaels; Undertaker forming strong base and being at the top. With Edge/Orton and later Chris Jericho and Cm Punk becoming mainly the top bad guys of the time period.
Later on in the Late PG Years; Cena was the top guy with Orton as the second top babyface. With Cm Punk; Ryback; Sheamus; and Daniel Bryan also in those top ropes with some of them shifting in big heel roles.
Since late 2014; Brock Lesnar pretty much has been the top bad guy of the product. With Roman Reigns; being the top babyface. With Styles for a while as the secondary top babyface. However guys like Rollins serving in big heel roles. I think with Reign's though I think in 2019 WWE for sure tried to make Seth a top baby face. And I think WWE is really trying to make Mcintyre the top baby face with Reigns now being the top heel.

Whatever happened to that Dean Ambrose guy? I liked him quite a bit and thought he had some potential. If booked right he could be a great upper midcard guy. Maybe even good for a main event here and there...

I didn’t read any of the other replies but just in case nobody mentioned him, it’s Roman Reigns.

To me, the face of the company is this: Their plan of becoming known as a show company ala the Goobetrodders or Cirque du Soleil is working. They want people to recognize the brand and company, not a star who's bigger than the company.
