For anyone who doesn't know, the Armageddon Hell In A Cell Match is just a Six-Man HIAC Match. It has only happened one time at Armageddon 2000 where Steve Austin, The Rock, The Undertaker, Triple H, Rikishi, and Kurt Angle had an amazing match. Maybe the most underrated HIAC Match ever. It's always an option in WWE games, but has never returned. If we saw a 2021 version, who would you want to see in it? For simplicity let's stick to male wrestlers that are currently on the WWE roster. Personally my six would be Randy Orton (of course it would be), Drew McIntyre, Roman Reigns, AJ Styles, Braun Strowman, and Big E. Braun Strowman would have to throw AJ Styles off the cell (dear god bring back the OG 16ft cage so people who aren't Shane McMahon can jump off of it, I hate these falling off the side spots. Only Shawn gets to do it and only in 1997.) I don't think there are enough car crash brawls in WWE anymore, most modern HIAC matches are just normal extreme rules matches in a cage. Also tell me an RKO on top of the cell wouldn't just be the greatest damn thing ever.

I would keep it in the same vain as the original match in including all the big players at the current time.
So for RAW: Orton, AJ, Drew, Lashley, Braun & Fiend
Smackdown: Edge, Roman, Bryan, Seth, KO & Cesaro

I'd love for them to drop the HitC PPV and start doing feud enders in the cell again. They shouldn't have one all year, then do one in 2022 as long as a feud deserves in...
but as for this post I would like the SD Title in one
Roman Vs Jey uso Vs Edge Vs Daniel Byran Vs Big E. Vs Cesaro and if its my Dream choice I would have Cesaro win the title

The only gimmick PPV I really like is Elimination Chamber because I like having a bridge between the Rumble and Mania, it makes sense. But call it No Way Out (No Escape in Germany). Also Cesaro should have already been a 5 time World Champion, he is literally the fuggin goat. I cringe at the idea of Edge in gimmick matches due to his neck. But if he could get through HIAC without injury I'd love it. If/when I become the big WWE main event superstar I've always dreamed of being, I am totally going to lobby for the old PPV schedule. But more importantly I'm definitely going to talk to anyone who will listen about how there's too many godd*mn LED boards. I'm ranting what was we talking about? Roman Reigns' heel theme should be Rikishi's 2000 theme, that ties this rant back to the Armageddon HIAC topic. Also for the sake of the rant I want to mention the OTHER Armageddon HIAC match, there was only two men in that one though. Orton vs Taker from 2005 was an incredible cell match and Taker should have kept the full beard.

Smackdown: Edge, Roman, Bryan, Seth, KO & Cesaro This would be the most likely snd best scenario IMO. Edge, Roman, and Bryan end their feuds, KO and Seth re-establish themselves as major players, and Cesaro gets to prove himself.

Would be awesome on paper, but sadly I think it would be watered down and not nearly as wild as the one in 2000. It would end up being kind of like a modern day Chamber match, but with everyone starting at the same time. Violence-wise, though, I wouldn’t expect much.

Take stars from both shows. The Armageddon HIAC had 5 of the top names in the WWF at the time (and Rikishi). It helped to make the match feel even bigger.
Roman Drew Bryan AJ Lashley Friend, Strowman, or Seth as the final entrant

If it was anyone I could pick - Drew McIntyre - Daniel Bryan - Cesaro - Edge - Jeff Hardy - Aleister Black
As for something that would make sense, I'd give it to Smackdown with: - Roman Reigns - Daniel Bryan - Cesaro - Edge - Seth Rollins - Kevin Owens

Wait till Brock comes back.
Brock Drew Randy AJ Bobby Sheamus
As much as Smackdown is the far superior roster, those six would beat the piss out of each other and it would be great.

Even though I do miss the MiTB at Mania, the PPV always has crazy spots and it’s become the crazy spot PPV in my opinion. The rest can go.

If they were to do it, it should be dual branded, with an extreme type of buy-in (they have to sign wavers/some guys comment that they wouldn’t do it) no comedy guys like the Miz, only the biggest and toughest stars. Current competitors - Drew, Braun, Lashley, Edge, and maybe Orton. The story would have to warrant it as well.
Knowing WWE however, if they did one, they’d do a women’s version. Since everything is tit for tat these days (no pun intended) I’d rather they just didn’t do it. HIAC, Elimination Chambers, and any variation of those matches should be once per year, and not with a theme PPV with a men’s and women’s version. They have to water everything down so that nothing is special.

Even though I do miss the MiTB at Mania, the PPV always has crazy spots and it’s become the crazy spot PPV in my opinion. The rest can go. Same, but I prefer it at Mania. Also I'm not a fan of when they put the women in these matches. For me watching 5'4" women beating each other to hell inside of Hell In A Cell and what not is just weird. I think they overplayed the "historic" element of women being in these matches. As someone who typically prefers big dudes fighting, it's just weird. We went from Undertaker and Triple in the Cell to what... Sasha Banks? I just don't like it lmao. But the MITB PPV is usually a damn good one. But I prefer stuff like Backlash, Judgment Day, Unforgiven, and No Mercy. I don't like gimmick ppvs, put random gimmicks in every ppv whether it's Randy Orton and Triple H in a Last Man Standing Match or Undertaker vs Edge in a TLC Match. Things shouldn't be bound to a PPV like they are now. I'd say keep MITB as a Mania exclusive. Or do the Money In The Bank PPV as long as we get a 7 Man Ladder Match for the IC Championship like at Mania 31 and 32, that should have became a Mania opening tradition every year.

If I were in charge of booking, to keep it plain and simple, I’d pick three men from each roster and the winner of the HIAC is the number one contender for the world champion in their respective brand.
Raw: Matt Riddle Drew Gulak Ricochet
SmackDown: Aleister Black Antonio Cesaro Chad Gable
If it was WWE and company in charge, it’d be.
Raw: Randy Orton Braun Strowman Drew Mcintyre
SmackDown: Edge Daniel Bryan Jey Uso (or Big E Langston)

I always wondered why they haven't done another. I know prichard mentioned it was just chaos to book and execute. But I think it's $$$ to see 6 or maybe even 4 guys just destroy eachother in a Cell. And I think we had some good chances to see some in the RA.
Hell in a Cell PPV has devauled the stip; however I will say we've seen some fantastic matches in the Cell over the years of the event.
If we got one on SmackDown Reigns/Edge/Bryan/Cesaro/Jey/Rollins would be amazing. Maybe fill in KO and swap him with someone. I think that 6 man would be ballistic.
