It's not that the women of today are very talented. It's just that I'm stuck in the past when it came to women's wrestling in the WWE as I was a huge fan of the model Divas Era from 2006 to 2014 as Kelly Kelly was my favorite WWE Diva. I was also a fan of John Cena and Cody Rhodes as well but they have pretty much left the company and now most of the people from the New Era don't fit the mold of the ideal WWE Superstar and most of today's women were not hired for their looks and Triple H may have played a major role in that. In addition, most of the women (especially in NXT) are heavily overexposed compared to 2010 when even the likes of LayCool weren't nearly as overexposed as Sasha Banks, Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Io Shirai and many others. What advice can you give me?

I mean, over half of WFigs either hate women’s wrestling or only talk about the appearances of women wrestlers while over sexualizing them, so probably not the place to ask.

I'm not trying to be rude here, but the argument you're making is that the women are more talented, getting too much tv time, and aren't paraded around as sex objects so you aren't as interested in them? Likewise they're overexposed but Cody Rhodes isn't? I mean I'm as big of Cody fan as any, but that man is the definition of overexposed right now.

Think the reason they changed direction is because they want to make female wrestlers into role models rather than eye candy and sex objects, which is perfectly fine.
They've done a bit of adding in the old Diva flavor with certain heel gimmicks, but they all flop because women's wrestling in WWE has evolved past those two minute hair pull, snapmare, sunset flip and get out matches, and it's honestly for the better that it has.

Loved what we've seen with Women's wrestling and it's growth.
Really wish we do get better fleshed out stories. Both womens matches heading into Mania for each brands title felt like cardboard flat story. However Bianca and Sasha tore the house down. Just wish we got better stories; and ways to double down on fleshing the division out.

I have nothing against male wrestlers being overexposed since wrestling was traditionally dominated by men while women for the most part were seen as supporting characters.

And to be even more accurate, it had devolved into that god awful hair pulling affair. Prior to that there was women's wrestling, and while it may not have been huge, it was wrestling. They weren't sex objects and they just wrestled. Just like the guys back then.

Just being real with you, but if you want to watch scantily clad women having poorly performed wrestling matches for the sole purpose of titillation there's a lot of websites that can scratch that itch far better than Raw or Smackdown ever could.

This, is why I never understood the appeal of having that in my wrestling. Like, there's literally an entire industry devoted to *ahem, scratching that itch. I don't watch a hockey game expecting to hear a rock concert, I don't watch a comedy movie and expect to learn about differential equations. If I want adult entertainment, there's a whole industry for that. I want to watch people wrestle.

I hated women’s wrestling for a long long time because I felt gross for watching it. It wasn’t til the past 10 years where I really started to get into it because it is on par with the men’s sport, and to be some of the best wrestlers in the entire world as far as overall package and presentation right now are women. It’s a great time in wrestling. At a GCW/JCW show this past weekend there was a little girl maybe 7 or 8 who was so freaking excited to see Allie Kat. It was awesome to see.

Last year at the warrior wrestling shows there was a girl that looked around that age too all dressed up and face painted like WARHORSE. She was super cute. And she RULED ASS.

And how were Layla and Michele McCo not overexposed? They were co champions and were on every almost episode of SmackDown during that reign. But somehow Io Shirai is overexposed and she’s not even on the main roster? In all seriousness... what are you talking about?!
