People are still arguing that wrestler’s should lose weight in 2021? That’s still a thing? After the legion of athletic big boys we’ve seen in the past ten years? It's not an argument. Tons of people say body shape doesn't necessarily correlate to athleticism. One standout sticks their tongue out and says they're all wrong. You say I don't have an argument, and then THAT'S your argument? Why aren't all athletes just a bunch of fat asses then? Or does being in shape maybe help? |

Loved the match. Absolutely loved the way the end of the match was booked. Camera angle showing the Jericho fall was bad. They should have used the angle they showed on the replay where it looked less gimmicky. Jericho also should have sold the sh*t out of it and he was two seconds from standing up and high fiving everyone. Still, hell of a journey and MJF looks even more like a million bucks. It’s pretty surreal to get this level of match on a Wednesday night in May because this is the bar AEW has set. Was super poetic having mjf and Jericho on top of the cage fighting at the end. Mjf hitting that pose on top covered in blood. Just awesome. |

I can't remember the last faction square off that comes anywhere close to how immense that match was.
Pinnacle is at the top of the industry.

It was one hell of a match, and the blood went a long way to make it better than any of the modern War Games matches. The ending was a little flat, but it works. It's a match on free tv - it makes sense to give yourself something teed up that builds interest in a PPV match. And Jericho/MJF is obviously that matchup.
It wasn't perfect, but it was a good match and continues an interesting story. I'll see where they take it from here.

Lol they really gotta stay away from these “big moment” endings. Everyone saw MJF tossing Jericho after the bout coming from a mile away and even still it was dumb to watch. What did he fall like 10 ft into fake metal covering cushion pads? They've done this before having pads that end up as visible as they did here. AEW just doesn't seem to care. If it's going to end up being that blatant they should come up with a different idea. |

My only complaint is all the commercial breaks. Other than that the match lived up to all my expectations. Jericho is 50 so a protected bump is the only way to go, camera angles and even the smile didn’t ruin it IMO.

Inner Circle is not hard core enough.......Sammy should have climbed up and threw MJF off the top of the cage. Or all of them should have climbed up and put MJF threw the top of the cage. They should know they can’t trust MJF at his word. Better camera work was needed to prevent the audience from knowing that Jericho fell on a metal coloured floor, instead of an actual metal plated floor.

Match was good, ending was flat but that was more productions fault than the wrestlers. Camera angle showed too much crash pad and plastic slates, and Sammy had to stand there and quit forever cause they weren’t catching it. Again not the wrestlers fault but the production fails them in these big spots.
