Great match. Lackluster ending. This. Bad camera angle showed the steel platform was really particle board. Also caught Jericho calling spot to MJF. Caught Jericho peeking after getting tossed. And we could barely hear Sammy surrender. I don’t mind it ending like that but the execution wasn’t good. |

That was freaking awesome. I don't know what anyone was expecting if they didn't enjoy that. I loved the ending. Yes, it was obvious he was still going to throw him. Still awesome.

Worse, more deflating ending: Barbed Wire Meh-ssacre or Blood & Crashpads? The fire works. That was just...bad. I didn’t mind the ending tonight, but the problem was the execution was poor. While we were never going to see a ring literally explode, with better camera angles and production tonight’s ending would have been 10x better. |

Loved the match. Absolutely loved the way the end of the match was booked. Camera angle showing the Jericho fall was bad. They should have used the angle they showed on the replay where it looked less gimmicky. Jericho also should have sold the sh*t out of it and he was two seconds from standing up and high fiving everyone.
Still, hell of a journey and MJF looks even more like a million bucks. It’s pretty surreal to get this level of match on a Wednesday night in May because this is the bar AEW has set.
