Not only did Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair and Bayler are very talented wrestlers but they also broke the model archetype in the WWE as well. In addition, these four women have plenty of charisma that most of the previous Divas did not.

They didnt...I knew women could wrestle because I grew up on Sherri Martel, Wendi Richter & Madusa.....I knew the training and booking is what held most women back and they didnt succeed again until AJ Lee & Paige, had nothing to do with the 4HW.

Becky and Bayley were the best but AJ and Paige started the Women's Revolution IMO.

Y'all need to revisit WWE programming. The Bella's led the Women's Revolution.
The Bella's also led the Diva's Renaissance.
Did the Bella's play a role in the Golden Era of ladies wrestling? Show me proof that they didn't, and I'll tell you if it's valid. But it won't be.

Their 4way at one of the Takeovers back in 2015 made me love women’s wrestling again. Trish, Lita, Victoria, Molly and Mickie are the ones that initially got me into women’s wrestling though. I’d put Bayley in my top 5 favorites of all timer though.

Didn't change my opinion of women's wrestling, they've always been able to wrestle. Changed my opinion of WWE though for finally taking it seriously. If women's wrestling was still in the super dark ages in America, I wouldn't be watching American wrestling.

Sasha Banks did nothing to change my opinion of women’s wrestling. She’s pretty much a divas era wrestler who is athletic but then messes up trying to do athletic stuff. Basically Naomi with more presence but a much worse voice. But she certainly showed how powerful WWE’s marketing machine is, as they convinced people she’s a really good wrestler.
Bayley and Becky showed me that it’s possible to have a woman be one of the top good guys in the whole company, that you could build stars by having them be a female twist on John Cena or Stone Cold. They transformed the role of a top woman, where they were main eventing not just in mixed tags, they weren’t defined by their sex appeal or their relationship to a male wrestler. Bayley, in her heel role, has also shown that she can be used to bolster every show in that triple-brand workhorse spot.
And Charlotte has totally blown me away. She is the first woman there to carry herself with the poise and confidence of the very top dogs - the same sort of swagger we rarely see from anyone other than Reigns, Cena, Lesnar, Rock, Austin.

it made me hate it more because it was so forced. The name 4hw literally makes me cringe every time i hear it. it makes me hate wrestling. nothing is original, its always stolen from something else. that and how wwe made them the face of the ""revolution" implied that all prior womens wrestling was crap. Such a crapty crapty concept.
*edited because people got offended by opinions*

Charlotte Flair was the first women's wrestler I ever saw who made me believe that women could wrestle just as well as men. Bayley Vs Sasha Banks at TakeOver: Brooklyn made me realize that women could wrestle better than a lot than men. Becky Lynch's run at the end of 2018 blew me away wit her 'IT' factor and made me realize that a woman could be the face of a major wrestling organization.
This is so dull headed to reflect on. I am 22 now, so I probably first saw Charlotte on NXT in 2014, so I was 15-16 years old. I grew up with the late-2000s and early 2010s being the measuring stick for women's wrestling. I grew up with women only getting 1-3 minutes on RAW and 6 minute PPV title matches. Hardly any women employed throughout this period stuck around long or grew as wrestlers. the 4HW to me really kicked off the idea that women in a serious and competitive role was viable for wrestling.
Even though my opinions of all four of the women change as their careers progress, they are the foundation for women's wrestling in my eyes. Even though a lot of other women showed out to be just as good or better than the 4HW, I don't think they would have had an opportunity without the success of Becky, Sasha, Bayley and Charlotte.

I rather see Carmella vs. Liv Morgan in a bra and panties match. The ratings would be higher than a wrestling match between those two.
