An email, containing an official statement, was received at WFWF head office earlier today, sent by former head booker Lila Sleater, regarding Drakz's scheduled appearance at "Party Time in the End Times".
"In the year 2021, this is about as professional as I intend to be when it comes to this company, so you'll have to excuse the lack of headed letter paper. I know you're expecting Drakz to come and make his grand retirement speech on the next show, and honestly he's still pretty adamant he's going to be there, but let's be honest now.
He's f*cked.
Since being discharged from his London hospital, a few days after Superbrawl, he's been back in a wheelchair. He was flown home to Chicago and is currently receiving routine, daily visits from his physical therapist. The chair is just a precaution, giving him time to rest. He's not paralysed or anything, but he IS in very bad shape.
In addition to his severe back issues;
His nose is broken, the gash running up the side of it required 38 stitches, and he's dealing with another concussion, to add to the countless tally he's suffered in the past.
Honestly though, perhaps the most concerning point is that he's being incredibly well behaved, friendly even. Not just to me, but to the doctors and nurses, to the airport staff and well, just about anybody he's had to deal with since losing his World Heavyweight Championship.
He seems awfully at peace about the whole thing, and until we can conclusively say that it's not due to his concussion I think it's best that he defers from entering one of your arenas. I don't want him to suddenly snap out of this calm and stab a stage hand.
I'll liaise with you in the coming weeks to let you know how his recovery schedule is looking, but yeah, don't expect to see him in Detroit. I repeat, Drakz is NOT going to be on your next TV show."
