It should be QT getting his pay per view match at Double or Nothing. He is the current star of the group. Ogogo is the future yes. But could they not just give QT one big match on PPV. Bull rope match whatever. They might still but DoN was the big chance. Hell ye could have even done a tag match with Dustin & Ogogo involved, that way the America vs UK stuff could still be executed. Also that way you don't need to pin Ogogo or Cody

lol I came into this thread to praise Miro's promo and one of the first posts I see is saying he has bad mic skills. I respectfully disagree. "No amount of yoga can save you." He had a good exchange with Archer. Don’t you love unscripted promos? |

They could go back to the well to have more matches (singles or tags), but he’s not the star of the group. B&G was a big tv special and they had their match there. They’re doing Ogogo at the PPV because it will be his coming out party as a future top guy. Cody is out of the title picture right now and is putting an emphasis on getting the next class of guys over. |

QT is the unsung hero of the promotion. On the mic, in the ring, behind the scenes he has come up trumps. So give him his due.
It's too early for Cody to be putting over so many. Ogogo has barely had a match yet. Let the big boys play for a bit. Not saying beat Ogogo but let it play out. To go to the Cody well, the biggest star in the company so soon is too quick. The match they are doing is one that should not have a loser. A throw in the towel spot off a distraction gut punch would help them get out of it somewhat while still giving us a finish.

He is a second ballot AEW HOF'er. Keep in mind he has won 15 matches this year out of a possible 18. So by that logic he is clearly deserving of a big match. Not for the title, but certaintly against one of the promotion's golden gooses. He turned on Dustin & they never got a blow off. Where's the storytelling there. QT is the leader of the Factory, but yet his student is taking a big time PPV match away from him AlREADY. As if QT had not done enough in the last month to prove he is more than Cody's Virgil. This was meant to be Bruno vs Zbyszko but now all of a sudden its a UK vs America thing. I don't mind that but just why the rush. Let the first story finish before we quickly snap into another. |

This show did 821,000. Pretty much on par with what they were doing when competing with NXT. Cornette predicted this would happen.
