Not true. I have nearly 10K followers, ordered on day 1, and still don’t have my shipping notification yet. I’m also not cool enough to be one of their influencers though. It’s very true. Pretty sure anybody who throws ringside’s name around in their videos get theirs. I mean a guy from Alabama who’s literally in a town 45 min from me got his, I still haven’t got a shipping notification, difference between us? He YouTube’s, I don’t. I follow a lot of the “big” wrestling figure accounts and all them have theirs, not me. And from the looks of it, nobody else does neither. I think you took my post way too serious. Influencers will always get things first. If you want to get figures first or for free put in the work. Start a YouTube or just post good content. Being salty about it won’t do anything to benefit the situation. One of the things I wish would change with this community is the jealousy towards others who put in the work and effort to have great content. |

You keep assuming that everyone who creates content and has a following doesn’t have a “real” job. While there very well are some that create content for a living not everyone does, and even if they do if it’s lucrative enough for their lifestyle who cares? Also news flash. I don’t have a YouTube account. If you don’t care about having social media or a following then stop bitching about influencers. If it’s not important to you then who cares? When it comes it comes. Btw, I’m married not asking for anyone’s permission or approval to be with my wife and I make more than enough for her to not have to work. Still haven't received my shipping email. The last three figures I've pre-ordered came months late. I'll always buy from RSC, but I'm definitely done pre-ordering figures. It's just not worth it anymore.

My thing is, I don’t understand why people lose their minds when they don’t get their figures first. You’re going to get it. Why is it such a big deal if it’s this week or next week? It’s probably going to just sit on a shelf anyways. And who gives a  if people with followings get them first and for free? They will put them on their channel, get more eyes on the product, and get more sold. Is business that hard to grasp The same people complain in every toy thread. If collecting makes you that angry, maybe find a different easier hobby? I don’t know. Seems like every day is the end of the world over little plastic men. |
