I'd love to see Nakamura in the Tokyo Dome again with fans.

Given WWE's history with booking Japanese talent, this should go over well.......
I could see NJPW doing it because their business is almost entirely live attendance revenue and it hasn't been going great over the last year. Apparently, WWE would be the only place NJPW would be allowed to work with. No more AEW, CMLL, ROH, or RevPro.
A WWE/NJPW partnership would be the final death nail in my NJPW interest. This last year has been rough.

All jokes aside, book Shane vs Okada cowards. 😂 But seriously, that’d be great.

All jokes aside, book Shane vs Okada cowards. They're scared to do that because Okada doesn't stand a chance to the best in the world. Shane beating NJPW's biggest star (besides Tanahashi?) in 5.7 seconds with one finger poke would destroy NJPW's credibility. Shane is the true almighty, Shane is the real cerebral assassin, Shane McMahon is the best in the world and the Rainmaker can't do nun about it.

I mean...the company has worked with NJPW, AAA, SWS, ECW (pre purchase), USWA (pre purchase), TNA/Impact, Smoky Mountain and other countless smaller indy feds.....Not real sure why its a surprise. I get it, 2021 "DUB DUB E BAD" but they've always had the door open as long as it makes sense & makes money.

I get it, 2021 "DUB DUB E BAD" but they've always had the door open as long as it makes sense & makes money. Today's WWE wanting to work "with" a promotion leads to bleeding that promotion out. See the US & European independent wrestling scenes. Their door hasn't always been open. It's quite the opposite. Working with NJPW doesn't make them more profitable. It would give incentive to people burnt out by the WWE system but still want their money to work somewhere else (mainly Daniel Bryan). It also takes away a resource from a growing competitor. This will either be a huge deal that will have major ramifications on the entire industry, OR this story is more smoke than fire.

Yeah, I'm thinking this is pretty much b.s.
In the past couple months we've gotten finjuice becoming the impact tag team Champions, plus El in phantasmo and kojima showing up there.
Moxley just defended the us title against Nagata on dynamite. I don't think he's losing that thing until after he's been able to defend it in Japan again in front of a crowd. They've also had Rocky Romero, Ren Narita and Kenta show up.
Not to mention "exclusivity" in America would have huge ramifications for the excursion system on dojo graduates.

Can you imagine Okada surprise in the Rumble, Khallas by Jinder, Okada eliminated?. Graves: “MAHAL ELIMINATES OKADA!!”
Michael Cole: Mahal is a former WWE Champion and has reigned over SmackDown for many months, something Okada has yet to accomplish.
