Basic 65 Emma

Coming back to nXt today because things didn’t work out on the main roster is…Evil Emma. Give a girl some avaitors and tiny black gloves and she’ll show you how B.A.D she can be. This Emma figure comes to us from nXt Takeover : Respect when she joined Dana Brooke in welcoming Asuka to the wwe 😉 this figure comes with a new headsculpt for her character, she was portrayed with a sort if disgusted, scrunched up face with dark lipstick and I think it looks great! The headsculpt portrays her likeness great and the expression comes across clearly, the paint apps were also applied perfectly to my figure. This Emma comes to us bolder and badder, wearing some bold silver gear with white outlining and black detailing. i will say one thing i really DONT like about this figure is the fact that mattel just painted over the bikini top sculpt, its not a great look. the main draw of this figure are the evil tiny gloves she is sporting, they are so tiny and so evil I cant stand it. mattel was able to add some silver paint apps to the gloves to imitate the stud details. Finishing up this figure are some tall black boots.
All in all this is honestly a great Emma figure! I love the headsculpt and attitude this figure oozes, mattel did drop the ball in just kindof painting over the sculpt on the top, not adding kneepads to the figure, and i guess not including avaitor sunglasses. i get that this is still a 'basic' figure but there were some details glossed over on this figure that could have made it so much better, but atleast we got the evil tiny gloves in figure form.

woke up this morning to a lovely large package from ringside on my porch containing my Nitro Ring and three Faces Of Foley pack! i feel like i should have waited until black friday to finally lock in the foley pack, but it was at a super reasonable price of $47 for three elites and ive been needing that brown attire mankind for quite some time now. popped out to the wal mart out of town--they only had the new Darby and Brody AEW figures out for new stuff so then i cruised to my local target and i scored on getting AEW Unmatched 9 Mox and the Legends GH Ultimate Warrior and King Booker figures. the Legends figures rang up at $18. i only need / want the Jamie Hayter figure from Unmatched 9 and ill have the whole set on lock.

i gotta say that i feel like ive been saying this more and more lately but im REALLY grateful for my figures and my figure collection. we are a passionate bunch and we do get caught up sometimes but mattel has really been doing a great job of getting some cool stuff worked up and out on the shelves for us. the legends figures and Monday Night Wars series have been really juicy for a collector like me. i also need to throw some positive energy out to the universe for just taking care of me. i have been able to get absolutely every single figure i have hunted for locally at my target and wal marts and even gotten a helping hand from fellow wfigs members which is just super rad!! all else could fail in my life but ill be damned if my figure collection isnt the most badass thing for me right now 😂😂 i keep my figures in those three drawer gimmicks and when i open any given drawer to grab a figure for pictures i just am in awe like wow these are so freaking cool, it makes me happy.

and looking forward too, we have some rad stuff on the way. Ringside has been killing it with their AEW exclusives; the Jeff Jarret is huge on my wants and the Konosuke figure is aceeeeeeeee i want so bad. im still hunting for sandman figures, im so hype to get those!!! we have both an elite and ultimate great muta figure on the way, ugh im so pumped. #grateful.

E11 CM Punk

Making a highly acclaimed return to my collection today is Elite Series 11 CM Punk. This figure is up there as my #2/#3 favorite CM Punk Elite figure of all time. I remember owning this figure during my 2012 era collection and I remember having so much fun posing this figure for photos; It looks SO GOOD with the mattel WHC belt. This Cm Punk figure portrays Punks time post SES as he was growing his hair back out, Ive always had this gripe with mattel as they can never seem to decide to give punk black or brown hair and on this figure poor punk was given brown hair and a black beard. The headsculpt on this figure is GOOD; a lot of the Punk heads by mattel suffered from bad factory paint apps- the likeness in the sculpting is certainly present, but if the paint apps were better to the eyes / eyebrows / beard this would really project a much better likeness. The head portrays Punk in an open mouthed, almost mid trash talk expression and---mattel could have chosen something a bit better? It also almost looks like Punk is gassed out and breathing heavy. This was the first elite figure to feature Punk’s brand new chest piece tattoo, it was a work in progress during the era so they only provided color to the skull and the snake. This also is the first to feature his purple tattoo on his neck, and misawa boot on his back shoulder. I bought this figure loose on ebay but it originally came with softgoods Nexus t shirt, nexus armband, and white elbowpad for right arm. This Punk comes to the ring wearing some black trunks with Chicago flag inspired stripes along the waist, IIRC this was the gear he wore during one of his Heavyweight Championship wins. Im super grateful for the condition of the stripes on this figure, for some reason this Elite 11 figure is susceptible to paint wear on the trunk design. Finishing up this figure are some legsleeve kneepads (PM ME if you have short kneepads to sell) and some Chicago flag inspired kickpads on black boots.
All in all as I mentioned this is one of my all time favorite CM Punk figures. Geographically speaking I was born and raised right in the middle of Milwaukee and Chicago and as ive grown older ive leaned into being a Chicago guy. I travel a lot for work and fly out of O’Hare and ill be damned if seeing all those Chicago flags lined up as the plane lands doesn’t make me feel proud as hell to call that place home. As I mentioned, this figure unfortunately suffers from bad factory paint apps, ive seen some artists really do this head up to near photorealistic levels. If mattel ever re-did this figure I would hope they include a long hair, bearded Punk and a Short hair version because he wore these trunks a few times in multiple memorable events.

Legends 23
Hulk Hogan

Soaring in today from Legends series 23 and fighting for the right of every man is the REAL AMERICAN, HULK HOGAN! the Hulkster makes another appearance to the legends line, this time in a non-match appearance as it appears Mattel have re-created his look from the Real American™️ music video. i honestly have come to LIKE this figure, at first i kinda rolled my eyes when mattel announced this because the legends line has been bringing the heat lately and i feel like this is a bit of a wrestlecrap thing and i didnt want it taking up a spot in the line. after having the figure and posing it around, it is a pretty neat little novelty. This Hulkster comes with the early 90s era head we saw on his ultimate edition figure and a pair of yellow vintage sunglasses. the combo looks great, imo the head is one of the best hogan likenesses and the cheeky little smile looks great with those macho man style shades. This hulkster comes with a softgoods red hulkamania shirt that has velcro closure on the back and a gold cross chain necklace. the unique stuff for this figure comes at the accessory which is the American flag stratocaster- but to make that extra cool mattel created a new gloved, pick holding guitar hand that i think is pretty freaking cool. the guitar is not a breakaway guitar and is actually pretty accurately detailed as far as sculpting. the double jointed elbows are amazing and this figure is so much fun to pose. i am a guitar player myself so i think thats why i ended up liking this figure more than not. mattel gave this hulkster their new hulk specific torso and skintone and i dig it, it works well for the purpose on this figure. finishing up this figure are some red tights, red and white striped socks peeking above some brown and white cowboy boots.
all in all this figure is just having fun out there maggle. my opinion as a serious collector, i dunno put this in the mainline as a fun figure or something and give the character spot in the legends line to someone who the collectors want. we recently got a hogan very similar to this in legends series 18, and if youre lining up your hogan figure collection the Hall Of Fame Hulkster also looks pretty similar. after having the figure in hand and having time to pose it and play around with it, i do dig it for what it is. mattel went the extra mile to sculpt the new mesh gloved hands and even one completely unique to this figure thats holding a guitar pick (i wonder how it would look on rick boogs?). as mentioned i also play guitar so the novelty value is actually a little stronger with me i have him permanently displayed as a desk figure now 🤘

Legends 23
Jamal

Samoan Dropping in today is the other half of the Three Minute Warning team; JAMAL. i echo alot of the sentiments i felt for the Rosey figure here; it was a shocking announcement to me, great character choice and i think the figure turned out great! the soon to become Umaga comes to us with some braided hair, bandana and teeth bearing intimidating expression. the likeness is great and as i mentioned with rosey, i also feel like the truefx brings this headsculpt to near photorealistic levels, IMO. mattel gave Jamal a silver chain and a softgoods brown camouflage jersey top. i believe the material is the same as the jersey rosey comes with; it looks and fits the figure great. underneath the jersey, Mattel gave this figure the same body recipe they chose for the Umaga figures--appropriately so. his tattoos look to be accurate for the timeframe of the character. finishing up this figure are some black jorts and black sneaker shoes. for accessories this figure came with some interchangeable black and white fingerless gloved hands.
all in all this team is a real nostalgiabomb for us who were actively watching the product at the time. Eric Bischoff was an amazing GM; HLA, Raw roulette, 3 minute warning....HLA lol. Rosey and Jamal were literally typecast as two big thugs and they looked and played the role well. i was a big fan of the pop-up samoan drop, i remember seeing jamal do that and i instantly gave it to one of my fig fed guys 💪 but seriously, IMO if you have a ruthless aggression era collection, these two characters are vital to be standing alongside Easy E, enforcing the strict time schedule for the GM.

First off, I love/hate your reviews...love 'em because they're really in depth and detailed, hate 'em because they've cost me so much money I might not have otherwise spent

To the first point - I bought Bubba on Friday for $6.89 (I should have waited on 3MW...can't win 'em all), but I haven't opened it yet - I had no idea he came with the glasses.
Great looking figure, though. I'll probably go with the younger looking head for mine.

i spent a week up in michigan and man-----i dont know how you guys do it, i hit up 8 wal marts and 4 targets and it looked like a deserted wasteland at each and every store. as far as elites i saw two top picks roman reigns, a queen zelina, a raquel gonzalez and a top picks sheamus. everything else was basics and old AEW figures. a handful of bianca belair ultimate figures at one store. oh well, hunting season is really only good for a small window of time in the figure world 😭 got home and opened my DM figures; i ordered Punk RVD and Kane; punk was a separate order because i knew there would be fulfillment issues and lo and behold here i am still waiting while everyone else shares their punkers. i was surprised that ringside gave me the corner flame accessories for Kane--i was under the impression that it was a bonus for ordering the 4 pack, but i was mistaken on that. RVD looks rad too, i have a forbiddenfigures ECW TV title that will look great on him, dont have any vintage tag titles however. i should be getting my From The Vault series 2 figures in tomorrow, excited for those--still however im most excited for my last outstanding pre-orders with ringside, the outsiders 2 pack, DM punk, Ultimate Punk and the From the Vault 3 Punk 😬

STAND BACK theres a Hurricane coming into the reviews!!



Elite 75 Hurricane

After months of watching the weather, ive finally found the chase Hurricane figure at the right price. I gave my mercari guy a heads up I still needed this figure and then soon as I said word he sent me a link to his listing. Hes a dangerous guy, what should I ask him for next? Anyways this figure comes to us utilizing the same headsculpt as the standard Elite 75 hurricane figure, no changes to the paint apps on the mask. This figure was given a sparkly green softgoods cape with hurricane logo on the center back for entrance gear; it looks and fits the figure great. This Hurricane comes to us in his gear from a little bit more into his run as the character was being flashed out more. This Hurricane is still wearing a lime green and black top, this time however with a large Hurricane symbol with swirling effect front and center on his chest and white hand wraps. This superhero is kicking crime in the face wearing some black tights with the Swirling Hurricane logo on the outside of either leg, dark green small kneepads and short green boots with white bootsleeves.
All in all I really dig this Hurricane chase figure. Im glad mattel chose Hurricane for the chase as it was an easy way to get out both his early look and his most familiar look. I think both figures turned out great and frankly they both deserve a spot in the collection. only ever so slightly miffed that I had just bought this figure and boop mattel announces a new hurricane in the royal rumble line lmfao I swear im a victim of circumstance.

got my From The Vault Series 2 figures in yesterday and i will say overall im VERY happy with all these figures. i already had the Hall of Champions Road Dogg figure, so i skipped buying the re-release but im slightly regretting that decision as id like Billy and Road Dogg to match as far as articulation is concerned 😵‍💫 oh well, ill grab it on a sale.....i hope. also, seeing reviews of the Paul Heyman figure, i kinda regret not buying him for the opportunity to have those interchangeable heads.
im just still struggling pretty hard with this whole idea of having to re-buy figures i already have simply due to the fact that they have updated articulation and better paint apps on the heads. for all intents and purposes, the re-releases are much better figures but.........i already have them 😭 ugh, another member suggested me to sell the old figures off as i buy new ones, its just that i have all the boxes in storage and then i have to find the accessories again..COLLECTOR WORLD PROBLEMS. its all good im still very excited for mattel wwe figures 🥳





Defining Moments
Chris Jericho

Coming in today is the FIRST undisputed wwf/wcw champion in history; the ayatollah of rock and rolla Chris Jericho. I gave up trying to lock this figure in for a good price MOC and was able to eventually get it loose from another collector for an amazing price. I will say that in recent times I have kinda soured on Chris but he held some good star power back in the day and I often took his catchphrases with me to the playground and cooked my foes to a crisp. I was genuinely shocked to see chris win the Undisputed championship for the first time over the biggest names in the wwf at the time but by god he did it. this figure commemorates that moment and event and so we see this chris figure come to us with long hair in the half ponytail hairstyle and red tips. The headsculpt portrays chris in a cocky, confident smirk expression and I can 100% see Chris’s likeness in the sculpt from every angle BUT theres something ever so slighty off to my eyes, like they sculpted his face too fat or something? He looks a little bloated but beyond that it still looks great. Body recipe works for Chris, also no tattoos yet so none represented. Black wristbands and black elbowpad on the right arm finish up the upper body gear and then some black tights with those iconic metallic colored tribal designs outlined in yellow on either leg. Finishing up this figure are some black kickpads with gold ‘JERICHO’ logo on the outside of either boot.
All in all, this is a FANTASTIC classic Jericho figure. Hes another guy that I really wish mattel could touch on right now because they would be killing it with Jericho figures. He was a MAJOR player in the Monday night wars, just imagine the wcw era / early wwf Jericho figures we’ve been robbed of thus far. I could list attires all day from my wishlist but hopefully one day he signs a legends deal and we get to fill out those looks in our collection. this one is a great figure and I highly recommend adding this one. Im dying to own the Ringside Exclusive Wrestlemania Jericho

spent a coupla days out in Salt Lake City! i hit up EVERY SINGLE WAL MART in the area and saw a total of 0 monday night was figures. i did walk away with a GH Ultimate Rock figure--hadnt seen one at home yet so i needed that.




Then Now Forever
Chad Gable

Suplexing in is the other half of American Alpha, shorty G Charlie Haas Jr Chad Gable. This Chad figure comes to us when he had some longer hair; Chad is sporting some shoulder length brown hair and his headsculpt portrays him in a confident, positive, smirking expression and the likeness to Chad is visible from all angles. Mattel did a great job with the paint apps as they included some facial stubble, and honestly the paint apps to my figures eyes and eyebrows look pretty spot on aswell. This human suplex machine is coming to the ring wearing his gear from nxt takeover Dallas where he and his partner defeated the Revival to triumphantly win the championships. The gear, like Jason’s is half solid black and half blue and silver camo. He also has kneepads that match his gear and finishing up this figure are some short black socks peeking out of some short(y G) shooter boots.
All in all, this is just another all around great figure, imo. Mattel did a great job with the body recipe, articulation, great job on the headsculpt, and great job on the paint apps of the gear. Like the Jason figure, this one is fun to pose and looks great with the supplied nxt championships

just got back from another business trip, its been quite a busy summer for me- i honestly havent been able to trek out as much as id like to as ive been stuck with Uber as a travel option and my company doesnt like seeing 10 trips to random walmarts being billed to them 🤑

cant quite remember if i shared here but i was blessed last week to randomly find the MNW GH wave at my local wal mart 🙏 still searching for a DDP in the wild but i jumped the gun last night and decided to order one from ebay. i know im going to regret it but im kinda feeling FOMO right now this is the definitive DDP figure we have all been dying to have, plus everyone on ebay seems to think its worth $75+ so i locked one in for about $50 shipped before it gets too insane. willing to take the hit on this one as i have been blessed enough to have an easy ride so far getting all the figures ive been wanting right at the store.

received my headbangers elite 2 pack in 🤘 super, SUPER hype for these guys!! not gonna go as far to say that i was an old school fan of the headbangers but they were a staple of my childhood; the attitude era on tv, the PS1 game wwf attitude-Headbangers and Too Much were jobbing to my favorite tag teams like crazy. definitely some BINGO figures i frankly never ever thought would see a mattel elite release.

New WWE Legends series drops today!!! my order will be here by wednesday, i tried to cancel it for in-store pickup but they already created my shipping label, so imma just have to wait a few days.

ummm what else🤔.......i ordered the Royal Rumble BAF Khali wave from Ringside; id typically wait a little bit longer for prices to drop a smidge but i dont know im feeling FOMO on this set for some reason, Khali BAF is brand new to the line and that elite Cody is already on backorder so i dont want to have to end up paying more in the long run to piece this series together, i bit down and got the whole set from the Bros at Ringside. also pre-ordered the Top Picks Punk and elite 115 Punk from ringside aswell---SO HAPPY FOR NEW PUNK FIGURES!

thats whats the what with MonsoonMan and his figure adventures. ive said it before and ill say it again, im really happy with the figure collection right now. we have been getting some super rad figures from mattel and im really excited to be in the hobby and part of the community!!

Monday Night Wars Series 3
The Rock

If ya smelllllllll….another re-release. When this figure was initially announced I was a salty sailor because its like come on mattel stop re-releasing figures I already own especially in BAF waves!! 😤 Honest truth is that especially when comparing it to the old version of this figure, it was due for an update so lets lay down the peoples elbow! This Rock figure comes to us with two headsculpts; one portraying the Great one giving the trademark peoples eyebrow, and the other portraying the rock rolling his eyes in a sort of meme face expression. Both headsculpts looks great, especially compared to the old eyebrow headsculpt the likeness has been great-ly improved. This rock comes to the ring wearing a softgoods black t shirt with a big R on it. it was a segment on tv and part of the internal turmoil the Nation faced as Rock and Farooq vied for leadership of the group. Another improvement this figure sees is that mattel actually chose the correct torso for this era of Rock. The previous figure utilized the heavyweight ripped torso and did not look great for the intended era of Maivia. Being a Nation of Domination era Rock, he comes with black trunks with white/red and blue Polynesian designs along the waist. Once again comparing it to the old figure, mattel went ahead and fine tuned the designs, they scaled them down and sharpened the designs it seems. Finishing up this figure are some black kneepads with matching Polynesian designs and the Rock’s signature calf exposed boots.
All in all, once I got this figure in hand and compared it to the old figure I changed my tune real quick. I was a tiny bit miffed that it WAS a re-release and it WAS in a BAF wave but as we’ve all gone round and round about available talent for this line what else was mattel gonna do. You really could just throw the old figure in the trash as it was SO flawed back in the day, mattel did this one up completely right. I think they could have/ should have given the chase figure to Rocky too and given him those other yellow/red and green Polynesian tights he wore before going with Rock logos and Brahma bulls. This figure turned out great, but I guess im still not completely satisfied with it being in this MNW line. I get the importance of die rocky die and how rocky became the rock who would really pull the tides of the war in wwf favor but I guess put this guy in the legends greatest hits line and gimme something more tasty for Monday Night Wars.
