speaking on Bo Jackson, me and my step dad are driving to the schinders comic shop in st. paul and driving through this area with all these mansions, some huge black guy ran across the street and we almost hit him, we slammed the breaks and my step dads like "wow, its Bo Jackson" so he rolled down the window and said "hey Bo" and bo said "hey, sorry bout that guys, im runnin late"
it was cool. That dudes built, its insane. Btw, if we did hit him, I had dibs on his shoes and gold chains.

But....Bo was good at baseball.
Also, football is the sport that ruined his hip, and football career. Personally, I loved watching him play both.
Him breaking his bat over his knee, or running up the wall to catch a ball are classic moments.

All I want is a John Elway. To me, that was like when HBK came out in RAW X. All I wanted was one more HBK & I wouldnt ever ask for another wrestling figure to be made, & I still havent. Elway is the same way as a football player. So if an Elway figure was released, I would never ask for any other sports figure to be released, well maybe a Terrell Davis, but thats it I swear

Hey guys I just got back from KB Toys and they got some new NFL figs in there from series 8. I am new at collecting these. Could someone tell me the variants from this series and what they are worth. I have someone that works there who is holding me the variants but he wasn't sure which they were. Any help is appreciated!

They have the regular figures on the back, the uniforms not on the back are variants. And why would you care about value if you're collecting? Eh?

I was looking through the NFL8 figures today at TRU, they had all the regs, no variants or chases. It was weird, none of them impressed me at all except ahman green, but I dont like the packers at all. I am thinking about picking that up anyways and then getting the NFL9 Urlacher to set up going for the kill. But Green really is an awesome looking figure. Manning and McNair just looked really bad to me, especially the faces. I came close to getting Yogi Berra again, but didnt. I think I'll save my figure money for the next NHL and NHL ledgends series.

funny story
I went into the mall near my house to get my Ahman Green white variant. There happend to be a card show out in the mall so i took a look. This guy was trying to sell me the Ahman Green figure white for $25. I pretended to be interested and told him i had to go get my money and i'd be back so i went into KB toys and my "dealer" held Ahman for me. So i walked back to the guy and showed him that i got it for 10 just to piss him off. He then offered me Torry Holt retro for $15 so i bought that.
