You can never have too much. Easier to budget this way, plus you still have the final products to look forward to. Pretty sure that's strictly WWE/Mattel. They should expand. Day 1 Mattel, Day 2 Jazwares, ZST, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if they did considering RSF used to be both Mattel and TNA Jakks. Ahh.. the Jakks booth. So many figures previewed and never seen again |

Nope.
Seeing as how they just showed renders, I think there's still plenty to look forward to.
So, we know what the lineups and attires are. So what.
The real excitement comes when we see the final product.

I’m just pissed off that Shawn Spears hasn’t been released. I think it’s crazy he wasn’t released this weekend. Especially since The Pinnacle was all released this weekends but him. 😡 Yeah, I'm mad he wasn't released either. He's easily the worst talent in The Dub. |

I think I may get where you're coming from. I have gotten used to the way they revealed things at Hasbro over the course of the pandemic for Star Wars and Marvel Legends. It's kind of nice to know there's a reveal every week there for a while as opposed to one huge drop and then you wait months on end to see anything else.
But the amount of stuff they showed only strengthens the overall brand perception. Having a fan fest and having merch reveals can help the product immensely in the public eye. It definitely doesn't hurt.

I know this sounds crazy, but we got the full line-ups for Series 7, 8 of the current line, series 1-3 of the new line, renders of most, plus the full reveal of the wrestling buddies. Feels like they have exhausted reveals for months -- except for waiting for protos, etc -- and I think they could have revealed less -- and still made people very happy. I think the reveals were great -- not trying to be Debbie Downer -- but it will drain future excitement for a bit...
I get what you're saying. I'm not concerned as much about not being excited for more figures. I just enjoy the ones I have. But I get it, it's that "what's next" appeal that kinda takes over a bit. I actually take this all as a plus. They realize that they really need to make a mark with their retail partners and show them that they're worth the extra space at retail. My one criticism is that they've decided to go the retailer exclusive route. I know that Mattel does it as well, and I personally don't like it but it is what it is. |
