Hi everyone I am looking to change some of Ric Flairs elite to add to me 2002 and 2003 shelf? First question is would you think I need 2 different figures for these or was his look the same in both years? Second question is would the new head from the championship showdown set work for this era? Third question is which figures would you use as he wore the retrofest red trunks during this time and the first flashback DM two tone blue attire a lot in 2002?
Thank you

Summerslam heritage head or the basic suited modern day head.

For suit look I’d use Corey Graves. For wrestling attire I’d probably go with Retrofest. He wore red at Mania against Rock n Sock. For head. Go with any old man head. The Summerslam one, the suited basic, the WrestleMania 2 pack, the retirement DM. Any of those should work.

The showdown head is from 95/96 so no it wouldnt work for 02-03 Flair.
The first DM was baby blue trunks that he only wore during his early 80s and 90s run. He never wore them in his 2nd WWE run. The 2nd DM was from his retirement so they would fit loosely in that era but even then still not completely accurate.

I'd go with the 2nd DM/SummerSlam Basic head (or even the Basic Series 70 one) on the red-trunks Retrofest body.

Corey Graves would work for the suit, but you would have to repaint the skin (over the tattoos) which I'm not sure if they want to do. Matching skintones can be a major PITA and I don't know if Flair uses one of skintones that is easy to blend/match or not. If they aren't adverse to painting it might be easier to modify the new Triple H instead. Gently remove the jacket, repaint the shirt white, then put the jacket back on. Then again, I'm not sure if Triple H and Flair have the same skincolor and I can't check right now because my Flair is in storage. It really is a shame they never gave us this look. They have the parts/molds available, you'd think it'd be a really easy basic to cobble together. And yet...

What I'd do is use the old man Flair head (Summerslam basic, WM 24 DM, etc.) and place it on the Retrofest body. It's close to his WM 20 look. Hell even the WM 24 DM would work in a pinch.
I wonder if anyone used the Ultimate Flair as an option, I remember seeing him wear a similar robe in some 2000s clips.

Would be sweet if Mattel made a 2005 IC champ Ric Flair

Batista/Flair with raw tag belts and shirts of either the girl in a martini glass or the logo that looks like a grill of a car should be an elite two pack.

Amazing yes I may do that with my retorfest for an 03/04 flair. 05/06 I use the 4 horseman w basic ss head. 07/08 I use DM Just what about 2002? I see it as w different flair not sure about you sir? It’s the head I’m unsure of

They did the Summerslam basic from SS 2002 a year or so ago, so I'd assume it's the same older Flair head as the WM 24 DM. Maybe find an Elite body that looks the part?
I usually just have 1-2 looks to encapsulate an era, so in Flair's case the UE and FB basic are 80s NWA, 1st DM is early 90s WWF, Retrofest with 2nd DM head is 2000s/Evolution
