Braun had a million dollar contract and they felt like he wasn’t working like a million dollar talent so he was cut.

A bunch of workers, maybe except Black, that nobody really gave two craps about now all of a sudden are the nail in the coffin for Vince because they were let go. It goes to show you that AEW is not a worry on anyone's mind. Let them all go to Jacksonville. Corny is 100% right. Vince doesn't have to pay for them now, he'll let daddy Khan open up his bank account to over pay a bunch of dead weight and in three years he'll hire them back when they spin their wheels even more in the land of flippy flop fools.
I never cared for Braun and like it was said, he was so ruined that nothing would bring him back. Black was cool. Lana is a bore and was always a bore. Shut up, flash your ass, and leave. Ruby Riott should just be a female jobber. They should have let Rhea rip her apart in a few squash matches. and I have no opinion on the others because I looked away every time they were on tv.

Thank god Strowman is gone the most bland and boring wrestler in years There was a moment there where that guy was insanely over and had improved quite a bit. But with a lot of those guys that hit in a flash, you had to evolve and bring something new to the table and he just didn’t.

I love the "Tony Khan is going to buy WWE" crowd on twitter.....The disconnect people have from reality and not understanding how finances work really shows with their fan boyism.

Call me fickle but I loved Braun for the longest time and I don't anymore. Right from his debut I was a fan even though I didn't like the Wyatt Family. But recently I just lost interest in him. In fact, he's got X-Pac heat with me. I am not sad to see him go. The release that saddens me the most is Murphy. I absolutely loved him. I hope he goes somewhere else and excels. FICKLE. Sorry. The whole Daniel Bryan fickle thing is one of my favorite things they ran with in years. Murphy would be a fantastic fit for RoH right now. Lots of good opponents there at the top of their card that would work very well with him.

So.... Braun has real life heat with fans? Yep. That’s the worst thing to have in wrestling. ask ryback how that's going Touché. I want to believe Braun is different as I think he’s way more talented than Ryback but a quality point nonetheless.

People speculating that when a profitable company like this does everything it can to look even more profitable they are prepping for a sale. Considering they sold the rights to the Network, released a good chunk, released a large chunk of backstage folk and are now starting to release bigger names than the first round, I think that is clear. Nick Khan also just bought an $8M mansion in LA, which is decidedly not Connecticut.

So excited to see Tommy End again. Murphy will kill it wherever he ends up too. Ruby was always underutilized, imo. The others are no real loss. Braun has been a goober for a while and Lana was only good in her original heel Russian manager role

Tommy End is currently streaming on twitch talking about everything. Leads me to think he didn't take his 90 day clause but I'm only guessing based on everyone else waiting 90 days before doing talk is jericho, etc. I could be wrong about what they can legally do in those 90 days.

If I had to guess, the top 2 options would be Comcast (parent company to NBC) or as a reach, Jeff Bezos. I know wrestling isnt really in Bezos catalog but with amazon reaching further into the digital world with Amazon shows/TV as well as Twitch being a subsidiary...It could be a venture he reaches out into.

There’s so many more negatives than positives during this current era It only seems that way because people & fans are more negative now then any time before. They're negative even on the positives. Nothing is really going on any different than any other time...its just fans voices are louder now because of social media. Imagine in 1996 if WWF would have posted they came to terms with Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Ted DiBiase, Chris Candido, Mabel, Terry Gordy, Jeff Jarrett, Bushwackers & Hakushi what the reaction would be if social media was around.....however back then nobody blinked an eye...in fact most people didnt even know until they showed up on a different show.

This is becoming a ing joke. How can you have guys like Black and Murphy and use them so badly?! It would be harder to fail with those guys. Strowmnan was MVP in the triple threat at Backlash too. Things were finally starting to pick up for him. I'm very much a WWE guy, but struggling to understand why anyone would want to sign for this company. It's baffling. People will look back at this era of WWE and it'll be a black eye.

Yeah, earlier in the thread. lol I don't think a sale is happening soon, if Khan keeps climbing the ladder in WWE he'll 100% push them to sell. He'll then climb whichever company buys WWE. The guy makes money moves.
