Has anyone noticed that the new women figures are way out of scale with the old
It kinda drives me nuts positioning them next to one another on the shelf

When elite 72 came out (first with double jointed knees) the Becky Lynch was compared to Elite 53 Bliss and was shorter than her. When mentioned to mattel's design team the response was "Is Becky too short or was Bliss too tall?" Then it was mentioned that going forward the women were going to be scaled better
Jump to Elite 82 where we finally get a new Alexa Bliss...and Mattel corrected the size....Oh wait, no they didnt. They rehashed the same Elite 53 Bliss (just as they did with the new Sasha Banks) and their new figures are scaled the same size as their old ones...and are scaled too big compared to someone like Becky.
Then we jump to Elite 85 Liv who is significantly shorter than her previous elite release but also shorter than Bliss who shes 4" taller than IRL
TLDR Mattel cant scale women worth a shit

Yeah, it's been pointed out countless times on here before. The women's figures are wildly out of scale with each other and the rest of the line.
But that's fine... because the rest of the line isn't in scale either!
Basically, Mattel can't scale their figures worth a damn. It isn't just the women's figures.

If I was a jobber on this site I'd not have much incentive to stay with the way you guys get mad that someone who has had exactly 1 post didn't bother to scroll through like 9,000 posts to make sure they weren't repeating a topic. What does one have to do here to make everyone happy?

I couldn’t tell you who’s taller than who IRL to begin with, for the most part, so it really doesn’t bother me at all. But I’m also just a MOC guy, though my loose collection is growing a bit lately.

I'm with you on not knowing who is taller than who in real life so I'm mostly not bothered by their scale to each other but I do have an issue since I'm a loose collector with the older versions being out of scale with the newer versions of the same person.

Yeah, I can see where it would be more frustrating when the same person is different heights.

The new women elites are definitely shorter than before and shorter than the current batch of basics. I think they started that in an attempt to correct scaling - but that still has not been resolved. But they have definitely improved their overall quality (more unique parts), so I've been mostly willing to give it a pass.

It usually isn't a dealbreaker for me since, as you said, I'm not completely familiar with who is what height.
But when I buy an Alexa Bliss or Zelina figure and they're both taller than Becky Lynch, or I buy a Carmella figure and she's as tall as Nia Jax... now I'm getting upset.

Mattel doesn't give the wrestling team enough of a budget to create new molds to ensure everyone is to scale. /threads

scaling aside, i think the worst thing are the hands on the old elites. no jointed wrist and they ALL have one holdy hand and one slap hand

I'll take the Mattel hands over those anyday. And I'll gladly take the current "More hands than I know what to do with" over THAT.
