I like blue robe he used at wrestlemania 4 and the silver one at summer slam 89
As for the cowboy outfits I liked his orange outfit at SS 92 also the white and gold for the wedding

I seriously have no idea why people hate his later WWF look, it's a good look. (I prefer the IC and WWF title looks but I like the Cowboy look too)   |

I liked the 80s look the best with the colorful robes. Still awesome how at WM IV he came out in 4 different attires.Mattel can put out many more figs of his thats for sure with all he wore throughout the years.
Did he really though?? He may have had four different robes that night, but his matches with Reed and Gang he wore purplish pink trunks and his matches with Valentine and DiBiase were the orangeish red trunks I believe.
He should have worn four different colours entirely.

You're correct with the trunks. I was thinking of his robes. But yeah he shouldve had all 4 different color trunks. |

I seriously have no idea why people hate his later WWF look, it's a good look. (I prefer the IC and WWF title looks but I like the Cowboy look too) Because I couldn’t take the guy seriously looking like that. In a world/profession that was already over the top he became too over the top. I just couldn’t look at him as I did in the trunks and robes. He was flamboyant then but when he switch to the tights and cowboy hat he pushed it past flamboyant to being comical. If he just did away with the cowboy hats all together and didn’t wear the matching shirts...and just kept it to the tights, jacket, bandanna & glasses I could have taken him more seriously. It was just too much especially if he left the shirt on for the match. Sure now in figure form they may translate into great looking figures, but back then all I saw was an over the top rodeo clown. |
