So I see they got a Damaged Packaging Kross on Ringside. I'm tempted to pull the trigger, but how damaged you think we're talkn here? Anybody ever got one? How bad was it? Curious.

I bought damaged packaging SCU and they turned up with barely noticeable damage. The Kaz had a crease down the middle of the back of the box, and the hook on Sky's box was bent, but that's it. I've seen stuff at retail in worse shape.
But some people have gotten beat to crapboxes. It's the same as buying Amazon warehouse finds, it's a crapshoot.
If you want MOC, just buy MOC. If you're an opener, then go with damaged packaging.

I've ordered a ton of damaged stuff since I open. Some of the boxes barely had a scratch, some a MOC collector would not display. That said, the price isn't like super discounted but it's always good to add a DP to another order your placing. For example I just bought some 87 but added a damaged Jericho 1B so I can display him with the new skin color.

I got 3 damaged UNrivaled 5 last week, and legit was like a couple dings in the box, wasn’t bad at all

It varies. I’ve received packages beat to sh**, damaged corners, or as little as bent/creased up side flap(s).

You could take buy the RSC Damaged one and go for the "100% chance of at least minor cosmetic damage" or you could go for the Amazon and the "50% chance of mangled beyond hope." It's up to the OP.
Personally, if you really want crisp, minty figures, buy them MOC with defenders from RSC. That's your best bet. It's only a dollar more for the fig plus the 5 dollars for the defender. If that is what you want, it's worth the extra cost.

Personally, the most damaged figure I've ever gotten was a Summerslam Ref Shane off ebay. And it wasn't that it was shipped in damaged packaging, it was shipped just fine. But they didn't use any real protective material and it looked like the mailman stomped on it half a dozen times before leaving it on my doorstep. Only time I've ever had a figure be sent to me MOC that was so mangled that I had to re-paint the figure to fix the all the paint damage that occurred after it was shipped. |

I literally bought an E84 Reigns used from Amazon Warehouse that was supposed to be just damaged, and when I got it, it had been swapped with a basic Reigns. So I’m not making up the swap possibility. It’s an actual thing. Again the one I told him about wasn’t a warehouse deal where it was something that had already been returned to Amazon. So it wouldn’t have been a switched figure. |
