Yup newgenandy I’m hoping once the first one is out and they’ve got a better understanding of how long the process takes then it’ll be smoother going forward. I'm sure the process will improve with time. But I think people need to temper expectations on just how far "improved" gets us. Companies like Mattel and Hasbro often own their own factories, have full staffs working on product, and the line teams have spent years and years working with their factory counterparts. Steve and Bill have talked about how long communication takes just due to the time differences and a simple email exchange stretching over a couple of business days, and how they've worked for years to build those relationships. These small scale companies are starting from scratch. If they can deliver finished product that's remotely close to what they've been showing, it's worth the wait to me even if I'm not thrilled. I know not everybody will feel that way. Look at the Lucha line, where they are still working on producing figures that were shown when the line was announced nearly two years ago. |

This is all true and my only thing is they should communicate more regularly and keep us in the loop. I checked the Dynamite page on their website a month or so back thinking I’d misunderstood the ETA and it still said it was aimed to be out in 2021. Stuff like that is easily fixed and saves complaints. |

You speak the truth mate. The wait is actually fun for me. If we get trickles of information then that just builds the hype for me, I know that is definitely not the case for everyone but I love it. These are really small companies right now, hopefully will be huge companies some day but they deserve patience. That's why I'm always preaching on the Retro thread about giving Zombie the benefit of the doubt on his shipping delays. Mattel can put figures out every month, these guys can't do that and I'll never understand the people that think they can AND should. I have a Lucha Taya pre-ordered. I have no idea when I'll get it but I don't care. I really want the figure but I'm not getting impatient about it, it'll come out when it comes out and I'll be happy to get it. The uncensored line, Dynamite in particular is the first one and Chella need to have some time to work out how they go about producing it. They don't have a huge factory with millions of parts ready to go, and if changes need to be made on one aspect then that's a huge change that takes time. I pre-ordered months ago, when it get's here I'll be happy but I'm not sitting fuming that it won't come tomorrow if that makes sense. Smaller companies that are doing this out of love of figures and wrestling in general, that are giving us a lot of good stuff, should be treated with as much patience as you can give. They're doing it for all of us at the end of the day! |

If we take the Chella Dynamite as an example, I did pre order it last year but at that point we hadn't seen many images, so I guess it's kind of like buying it on a promise. Basically buying somewhat blind with expectation more than anything else. They're hadn't been a lot of information released but I got one of the prints with one of the other figures that had images of it and shots of the figure I hadn't seen so when I did see that I was quite excited and glad I'd ordered it. Zombie has been pretty up to date with his news in a way so that's cool with me. Guys not always the most subtle with his responses at times but for the most part he's been upfront. The Legends of Lucha line has been an odd one, they were announced a while ago and while I'm not too big on the line as a whole, I think there'll be some more I pick up going forward depending on who they make. Taya I really wanted so I'm happy to wait. I think it's the person that's orderings decision on how long they find acceptable to wait after paying because it is their money after all. |

I keep hoping to get an update on the Uncensored Dynamite Kid. My order page on the Asylum Wrestling Store website says I ordered on June 10th, which is a week before the Zombie Sailor figures went up for preorder, and there's been almost no updates from Chella on this one. I think the only time we've seen the figure were the original render, the hand painted prototype we saw shortly thereafter and then that one flyer they sent out with some of the Hayabusa orders in September? It'd be nice to see some actual pictures of the figure as it looks now. Hell I'd like to see what the packaging looks like too. It's been 10 months.

Chella mentioned in the comments to someone asking that there will be some updates on Dynamite this week. I have seen it and I'm in love  Its every bit as good as the Sabu. |

I really like the logo on the box, all of them actually. Will wait till I see actual in box pictures to say more, it's a very dark colour scheme but I'd like to see MOC images before passing any judgement.

That's a terrific Dynamite Kid head sculpt. Were the paint issues on the Hasbro inspired figures ever addressed? My only concern is that those issues spill over to their 7 inch line. I'm wondering how well the paint holds up and if it's in the same vein as the figures from Hasbro and Mattel in that the paint is cured and hard and you need a harsh solvent like acetone just to remove it.
