I want to preface this comment by saying I’m absolutely buying the Thunder Tank. It’s incredible it’s happening, and, along with Cat’s Lair, it’s the piece I think of first when I think Thundercats. That said, from a business perspective, I’m not sure what Brian was thinking. $450 plus shipping is a lot to ask of this community. Cats is a niche property. The popularity just doesn’t exist the way it does for something like He-man. I say that as someone who passionately loved the LJN figures as a kid. I have to believe they could have done something smaller and more affordable. It’s like Snake Mountain. It’s huge, to scale, but it’s not functional. If I’m being honest, part of this reveal has been ruined by the fact I’m stressing about how to display this thing. I’m sure plenty of others are stressing over what will be a nearly $500 price point. If you’re keeping score at home, we’re at $1,170 for the 16 figures and a vehicle, and that’s before tax and shipping. And we don’t even have Bengali... haha. My heart hurts for Cats collectors who aren’t going to buy this thing because of the decision to make it so big and expensive. The disappointed fans shouldn’t be in the majority, and it kind of seems like that’s the case. Where you getting this news mate? Didnt know about the thundertank and cats lair! Wow im going to be skint!

Seeing them do that Thundertank makes me wonder if they'll do a remastered Sewer Playset and/or Technodrome for their TMNT line. At $450, it's a HUGE ask but I know people would buy it. Good thought. I could definitely see it. TMNT is probably bigger than MOTU and definitely bigger than Thundercats, so why not? MOTUC had a lot more figures before and thus more buildup, so to speak, but with all the Neca and Playmates stuff out there, too, I think either the Sewer or Technodrome would sell.

That was my exact thought. Even the people who only buy the NECA TMNT would still possibly get the Super7 playsets because they'd be reasonably compatible.

Neca should hope for Super7 to do it because it would only help generate interest in all the TMNT figures. Man, how awesome would a massive Technodrome or Sewer Playset be? Something as big or almost as big as Castle Grayskull or Snake Mountain? Unreal. I didn't own it, but I was so let down by the size of the original/vintage Technodrome when I was a kid.

It seems like Brian is going to do the Party Wagon next. That seems to be the speculation, anyway. That would be incredible. Turtles is definitely their heavy hitter.
He did say playsets are actually better/easier/more profitable to make than vehicles when he was explaining the difficulty of making the Thunder Tank happen. So I expect Cat’s Lair and the Turtles Sewer to both happen for each of those lines. Snake Mountain took like 5 years (hyperbole) to ship but seems like it was an overall big success.
The Technodrome would be insane. I can’t even imagine that happening without a crazy price tag. That said, I see them making Turtles for a long time. So I’m not counting out anything. The line is so good. It’s starting to feel like it’s going to be the definitive Turtles line for me in a MOTU Classics to He-man kind of way. I hope it stays on that pace.
And Silverhawks is amazing news. I really hope they do a Bravestarr, even as a one-off like Toxie. If we can get Darkwing and Scrooge in the Disney line, we’ll be checking off so many boxes. I’m absolutely dying for them to do Willow figures. Super7 Madmartigan is dreams.

Holy Sh*t the original Cats Lair is one hell of a piece of plastic...can imagine what Super 7 would do with it. Something 40"x40" that costs roughly $600, would be my guess. I ordered the Thunder Tank yesterday. Did PayPal Credit Card on it. 6 months no interest is quite a bit better than the S7 payment plan. But props to them for offering a payment plan for those who don't have an alternative.

I'm in a similar situation; it's more the principle than the money. I'm talking myself out of buying a RR Warrior on eBay for 50, so how do I justify 10 times that amount for the Thundertank? It is incredible, though. I give Super7 big props for doing it right.

My Conan figures arrived today from Big Bad. Pit Fighter Conan -Thulsa Doom -Thorgrim -Rexor -Super7 strikes again! Hope those look better in person. They do the only Q/C issue I have is Rexor’s eyes on the helmet less head. The painted skin tones matches the molded flesh tones.

I don't know and couldn't find an explanation anywhere, but for one I wonder if they're fixing Panthro's belt/trunks. I think the first release had a light blue instead of royal blue for one or the other, which isn't accurate.

No difference just a few tweaks like Panthros trunks will be corrected and I believe the thundercats logo on Lion Os sword

Super7 sent me the Thundercats booster pack for the Panthro I ordered from Big Bad. I don't think I'm going to try swapping trunks because it looked like a pain in the butt after watching Super7's YouTube video.
