I’m weirdly looking forward to seeing what Xia Li can do on a big stage non squash. You read reports that she has improved a ton but we have only seen her squash people since coming back to Tv.

I like all the guys in the main event but I’m sick of multiple men matches all around. I’ve always preferred 1 on 1 with a great buildup

It’s NXT. Even their weaker cards have always delivered, I expect no different from this one. The matches should deliver, except maybe Mercedes/Xia Li. Just a lot of newer faces I don't really give a damn about..... LA Knight, Bronson Reed, MSK, Mendoza/Joaquin. Raquel/Ember is fine, but it would fit better on a show with a better overall card. They're having Ciampa/Thatcher vs. GYV on NXT next week instead of Takeover... like, why? |

I'm not looking forward to the two women's matches but the men's side of the card looks good to me. I've been loving this Grimes/M$M stuff and the thought of Escobar and KOR walking away with the titles has me really excited for Sunday. I will say I was hoping for Escobar/Bronson one on one and MSK/Ciampa&Thatcher/GYV/LDF for the tag titles but I can see why they didn't go that way when they having the 5 way for the NXT title.

I like the look of the card, I am sure the main event will be awesome with the talent in it. I hope Gargano or Cole walk out as champion.
I cannot decide if I like MSK or not, they seem like bootleg Hary Boys to me, but to be fair to them NXT has not exactly done a good job in showcasing their personality. The stuff they do in the ring is fun, but I just do not really care about them if that makes sense?

One on each and then one as a team. I thought they did a great job profiling them. |

Adam Cole and Johnny Gargano in the main event puts me off. It’s probably been a long time since either of them have had a title match, but man, it just reinforces how stagnant the top of NXT is. Kross is surely getting called up to the big leagues soon, and it’ll be the same old group of vanilla midgets fighting each other for the title.
I wouldn’t bother calling Cole up, but I’d at least give it a shot with Gargano after this event. He’s kind of found his feet as a character and could be a decent addition to the midcard on Raw.
Speaking of decent additions, I really want Cameron Grimes on Raw in the 24/7 mix ASAP. A Grimes vs R-Truth feud would be incredible.

I would guess Cole would win the belt if Kross moves up and Kyle takes it from him by the end of the year. I don't want to see MSK drop the titles but I really want to see Escobar win the NA so I'm torn on that one but please give Grimes the Million Dollar Title.

I have to assume the main event is to get Kross out without getting pinned. Fine by me, get him out of NXT. He's not an NXT guy, he's a main roster guy. He's going to be thoroughly outclassed as a worker by the other 4, which is kind of the calling card of NXT. He'll be a great fit on the main roster though.
I'm guessing the plan is Cole so O'Reilly can beat him later, but they could just have O'Reilly get it here and defend successfully against Cole later. Either way is fine but K.o.r. needs that title run.

For me it’s either Kross or Cole. MAYBE Dunne, but I don’t think so. The focus has been on Kross and Cole. This isn’t the way KOR would win his first, and I’m just not seeing Gargano as an option to hold the title right now. Since I don’t like Kross and want Cole to win, it’ll probably be Kross lol.
