I’ve been a Prime member for nearly 14 years now, but as of late everything Prime has taken 6-7 days. It has left me questioning what I’m paying for at this point. Checking tonight nearly everything marked Prime was estimated to deliver next Wednesday . Even in the height of the pandemic I was getting things in 3 days at worst.
Is anyone else having these issues with Amazon lately?

I’ve received all my Prime orders in the said time. Next day or 2 day.

I live in very southern Maine with a distribution center not that far away in Massachusetts. Many times things would arrive in 1 day at worst the 2 days.
Amazon customer service is a joke. They fed me a line about the service being 2 days after shipping only. For the 7 days they’re quoting on my most items, I’m finding it hard to think it’d not be easier just to run to Target or Walmart in most cases. The prices are pretty comparable these days.

I'm in Canada so of course things have slowed down, what was 2 days is now 4.

I've never had any issues. I have, however, run into many issues with their packaging and the way they ship certain items. I find damaged boxes on anything I buy that I plan to keep mint. I always return them, and one time the box was bent so badly, the item was sticking out of it. They refunded me and let me keep it. That was nice of them, but it still doesn't solve the fact that their packaging is really horrible. I've complained many times online to them. The last order I placed was for one item, but since it was being listed (rarely) at MSRP, I bought two thinking one would definitely be beat up. Amazing enough, they both came in mint condition. One for my collection, one to sell down the road. Woohoo.
Then again, thinking about it, I bought some figures from Best Buy recently. Two came in bubbler mailers... completely bent. The other two came in boxes... kind of bent for one, perfect for the other. I planned to open these anyway, but it still made me realize that all of these sites don't know how to package a damn item. I could do their job better than they do, and all I send out in the mail is eBay stuff.

Seriously can’t explain it anymore. On Saturday everything Prime was being listed as being delivered by Tuesday. Today everything is being quoted a full week to next Wednesday.

As long as they keep a flat annual payment that covers free shipping and all the other stuff I get through Prime, they can take as long as they want to ship my crap. It still costs less than $10 a month for Prime. I guess that sucks if you're only using it for free two-day shipping, but it's 2021. Flex that membership and get your sh*t. There's a distro center right in my town. Doesn't mean everything I want is there.
