This post-punk/new wave underground song aired on German radio in the fall of 1984 and the Internet and has been on a search since 2006 (but especially since 2019) to find its mysterious name and the name of the band. No one knows the story; it has a million Reddit pages, Wikipedia entries, investigation spreadsheets and YouTube videos, but no one can crack the code. It’s pretty surreal! Investigators have narrowed things down to some degree, with January leading to a discovery of the channel it aired on and, most likely, the show. The DJ was discovered a bit ago too. It’s gonna be amazing to find out the answer, but until then the track remains the most mysterious song on the Internet.
Hopefully this can stay in the Lounge rather than go to Entertainment, since it’s more about the mystery and Internet phenomenon than the music, for the most part.

God the internet is stupid sometimes that's obviously an unreleased Droggz track that was stolen and leaked prior to the release of the debut full length Jon Claude Gordon Van Damme Benet Ramsey. It was scheduled to be the opening track on the aforementioned smash hit but was kept off the album as a result of the leak and pending lawsuit.

My old band was the Dave Koresh Five. That's really interesting because I'm told that the support act for the Droggz 2022 stadium tour is going to be an act out of Waco, TX called The Branch Covidians

What are you all talking about? Droggz? There's not a single Google search about them.

What are you all talking about? Droggz? There's not a single Google search about them. You need to scour the deep dark depths of the web to find the Droggz--that's why they're so mysterious.

What are you all talking about? Droggz? There's not a single Google search about them. The Droggz are not what you'd call "mainstream", but their talent and influence is highly regarded among many circles throughout the music industry. If the Beatles were bigger than Jesus, then the Droggz are widely considered to also be bigger than a popular deity.

If the Beatles were bigger than Jesus, then the Droggz are widely considered to also be bigger than a popular deity. Even lil' el ron has heard of us. The original demo of I Am Leg was tracked live in the parlor of his home at Camelback in Phoenix. He later conducted thetan auditing for each of us and served us chilled glasses of Orangina. All of this is detailed in the first volume of the comprehensive history of The Droggz entitled "What a Long, Strange Trip it's Been to a Show at Harvard in Billy's Vette".
