I will Brody. It’s the only figure that’s been announced that I’d pay $48 for. Brody might not be $48 since he’s not being made or released by Zombie according to the list. Okay I misread it since two companies are making figures of him. Yeah Brody was one of the first announced after Major Bros. Like the 4th or 5th reveal.

I’m shocked he wasn’t in Series 1.

Personally, I don't think Brody would have been nearly as popular as Myers, Cardona, Hebner, or Sabu. When it comes to Bravo -- I think Zombie thought people would want him more because he really fits in with the Hasbro line.
If I had extra money, I would consider buying Bravo -- but not Bruiser -- so I think he made the right choice

Has there been any reason given as to why posts keep being locked?

What are people thoughts now that hype has settled from pre orders on Zombie first series, he has not announced a signing since Double J, I would have a feeling Chris Candido will be in the pipe line. Chella realised concept art for Giant Haystacks and it looks cool, creating a figure line targeted at world of spots is indeed untapped and could do well namely in the UK.

Has there been any reason given as to why posts keep being locked? Complaining here about ZST not shipping overseas is not helping the cause. Send an e-mail to ZST, spam their Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, ... to make them listen. If they don't listen, find an alternative way: contact a forum member who lives in the U.S. to see if he/she is willing to help you out. An admin locked one ZST topic and removed another. Lets keep the retro topic open; compain to ZST, not here! A gazillion times reading "Why won't ZST ship globally?" is just annoying and not discussing the figures. This is the DM a random smattering of us got the last time posts were randomly scrubbed for no reason at all. TL;DR - mods seeing something that isn't happening anywhere close to the degree people (mrh) seem to think it is. The shipping discussion has been over and done with for a while, but for some reason (illiteracy), people seem think that the continued discussion of "ZST is a d*ck which is really weird, given that you'd assume he'd want this line to succeed" is a) somehow a continued discussion of international shipping, and b) not relevant to the line (even though bitching about Jakks and Mattel is what even allows this forum to exist in the first place).

Thanks man, Wow, incredible logic displayed by mods and I received this too, I can’t believe mods need reminding of this but the definition of a forum “ a meeting or medium where ideas and views on a particular issue can be exchanged.” To all the guys who I have seen engage in discussion, you have all handled yourselves with class and been respectful even in times of disagreement. We will keep this about figures until this is locked with no reason.

I've seen the idea floated around that RSC is behind this, in that they're treating the discussion of ZST's line like whatever that other RA doodoo line that we can't talk about is. That's just reaching...if that were the case, you'd already have a stickied, locked post saying "don't talk about ZST figures".

Finally getting a DINO BRAVO HASBRO! I wanted this since I was a kid. I would consider getting 2 but they are not cheap.

So not wanting to get this locked but it’s news and deserves to be mentioned imo is zombie has just tweeted “very exciting news” is coming soon for “uk and international” customers with the heels and faces hashtag.
Maybe sales didn’t meet his expectations

Yup, and watch as the international buyers exceed his expectations. I am glad he has found a way to source to UK market, but my god this took some amount of work from potential customers.

That was the open preorder amount with a hint he may order more but not definitive depending on how sales go We had the mwfpod Patreon which would’ve got the die hard fans, then the open pre order would’ve caught the other big fans An issue I see is while they are retro in scale they are not going to seemlessly fit in with your hadbros but will look good displayed by themselves. The problem with that is you don’t want to display a figure or two by themselves but not everyone has $200 to drop on 1 series of 5 figures. So some may wait until 2 or 3 series are out then pick 1 or 2 from each series to build their collection but not be in A rush to get them Realistically you can get a whole set of Mattel retros when released in store (not old secondary market values) for the cost of 1 of zombies figures. Now I know that’s not his fault, it’s economies of scale, Mattel bring a huge multinational company etc etc. However while that’s not zombies fault, the cost does restrict the market.

I have a bud who's a pretty heavy collector, but doesn't get in on the buzz. Doesn't do forums, doesn't do podcasts, certainly wouldn't know ZST from a hole in the wall, and I think he found out about the line this weekend. He was psyched to buy a Dino Bravo - 'til he got to the site and saw the price. Priced him right out. It's easy for ZST to come here and talk us all down about the cost of doing business and passion projects and all that - this is a built in market, where no amount of heated dialogue is going to drive off some clientele, but for customers like my buddy who neither know nor care about any of that, he's likely going to price them out more than he doesn't.

A "pretty heavy collector" as you say, wouldn't mind paying $40 for a figure from a very small company.

Not sure where you get off thinking you could possibly dictate a stranger's willingness to pay based solely on the context of them having a large figure collection, but it makes you look pretty foolish. Again - this guy doesn't know ZST from a hole in the ground. He doesn't come prepackaged with the knowledge we do that ZST is a small business and that's why these cost $40 and blah blah blah. He came across them, got excited, looked into it, and backed out when he caught the price. Maybe you're one of those people who deems what qualities make people a real collector, I dunno. Either way, nice attempt to poke holes in my story.

This was a great contribution to the discussion that was otherwise staying on topic. Way to not ruin the thread. it is laughable. he locks every single other thread (for reasons undisclosed) even though everyone else agrees there was nothing that even warranted a lock. meanwhile, we finally have a stable thread going and the moderator is the one who swoops in to start a fight that will undoubtedly lead to him locking this thread as well. shocker. it definitely seems like he's doing damage control more than fairly moderating the discussions we're having. makes you wonder.
