One sale is not gonna save this line. Stores have sales all the time to try to clear out product to make room for new. They literally had a sale a couple or so months ago when Eddie & Warrior were in-stock online, now they’re sold out online.

I meant in the long run, this line has about 1 more year left in it before target finally pulls the plug. Target can have a sale on these every other week if they want. There are no new legends in this line, so its just repaints and refresh galore.

I think we're already seeing a logjam. But how can we complain about no distribution -- and then TOO much distribution?
The problem is the few figures per wave that people don't want. I have never seen Dibiase, Undertaker, or Tatanka on the shelves. And I only saw Vader one time

I've never seen either Dibiase, only saw Warrior once, and never saw regular Valentine on the pegs. They've had some great choices, but the numbers per case seem to have been off each round. I don't understand how some of us can see that coming and they can't.

To date it seems like stores have still been getting new stock despite the pegwarmers. But we've seen plenty of examples over the years where pegwarmers basically put retail on pause and prevent new product from hitting shelves.

Produce less pegwarmers and more of the ones people are likely to buy. It's not rocket science.

It doesn't help how horrible Target distribution is. Went there earlier in the month and they had the X-Men black light funkos in the clearance section because they got them a month later than expected.

I’ve never seen any of the figures in the last 2 sets. I bought both versions the Million Dollar Man on exclusivebay. I want both versions of Brutus too. Target blows.

i mean, the Legends line is selling extremely well. there's a little logjam right now with Cena and Bobby Heenan, but other than that? who do you see on the pegs? they re-released L9 recently, but Orndorff and Volkoff will eventually sell too.
the only real problems here were overpacking Heenan because they had to remove Sting, and then not having DDP & Beefcake be in the cases with Vader and Cena so stores got overloaded with those 2. even then, I saw like 5 or 6 Vaders at different Targets a few weeks ago and have been back to those since, they are all gone.
For ALL the difficulties collectors have had in the past 2 years with getting new sets, I welcome the fact that if I wanted a Legends Vader right now I could literally go right to Target's site and get it. That's amazing. You can't sit here and complain about peg warming while also complaining about never finding anything....I'll take over-abundance to not enough every single time.

Those are loathsome, bush league moves that serve little purpose other than to upset the target audience.

I agree with this -- but the answer is not simple. If they only had figures everyone wanted -- they'd have a lot less releases (think WWF Hasbro). Would you want fewer sets released (twice a year) if it meant you wanted more of the figures?

I had to make a return at Target tonight and decided to see what the WWE section looked like. Two of Cena from the newest wave, all but Dibiase from 9, none from Series 8, and a whole lot of Heenan, two Razors and two Valentine. I missed two more of Heenan on the pegs for this picture.

Just because your target has a ton of legends on the shelf doesn’t mean every target is like that. The 3 in my area may have 2-3 on the shelf at all times. And they move pretty fast. Within 2 weeks there gone and new product is out

i will say this....as a collector I appreciate (and bought) Weasel Suit Heenan....however the decision to make it is mirroring the decision to release AWA Sgt Slaugher and Snuka in boots/tights during the first Legends run
