I violated my own darn rule by bringing price into the discussion. Please don’t let this derail this thread. Moving back on topic: I’m reorganizing my Hasbro and Retro collection right now. It takes up a massive amount of room and it is hard to make space with some of these new figures in mind. Everything is split up kind of by era. I use 9 rings and some stands but it still looks crowded in some areas! I’m so glad I didn’t use anything more “permanent” to try and get these to stay in place! Having Bundy and Dino will help though as my top ring features figures from an earlier era and is a bit more sparse. Guys like JYD and Sheik won’t seem so lonely now lol. You have JYD? Alright, Jeff Bezos. Go on with your bad self!

Space is definitely an issue for me as well - particularly if Mattel's line lasts more than couple of years, as we all hope they will. I'll need to start getting creative once the remaining space is gone.

I was able to pick up a few of them down the line before the prices really skyrocketed. I still haven’t been able to get a JYD. Maybe one day.

I got him and Sheik when he was first released. I think the only retros I don't have are nWo Macho, New Day, and Shawn and I purposely skipped those

JYD is selling at around $100 sealed on the bay. Post pictures if you have any. SEconding. Would love to see pics
I’ll try to post some soon. I started reorganizing stuff recently so nothing at all is set up/in place. There are a lot of pieces: every Hasbro, some duplicates, every retro, some bootlegs, and 20 or so customs. The same shelves hold my Galoob, Japanese wrestling, and my sparse 7inch collection (split into two RSRs). It’s a lot of pieces to move and I have to kind of do it from the bottom-up due to the lighting I use. It’s a nightmare of a process yet it’s also very soothing.

Very cool signing, One Man Gang used his WWF look elsewhere so this should be right on the money. Very cool indeed.

Do you think ZST series 1 figs will come down in price before the first batch is shipped in Q4 Maybe not for series one but by series 3 I can see the price coming down. Anyone buying these for possible value down the line I would not recommend it. Essentially high end bootleg figures and I agree they are cool, may pick up one or two depending on price here in the UK, but that’s because I am a fan of retros and Hasbros and not thinking of value, but I can’t see them holding value greater than original pricing I would be shock if resales done anything but break even.

Be shocked mate. You are way too negative about this line. Look at the prices for Retros like Diesel and JYD and you will get an idea of what people will have to pay if they are late on the line and want to get in. This is totally usual btw. Just look at Necas TMNTs or any Super7 line. If a figure is sold out, it will rise in value atm.

I agree that the prices will never come down to lower than they are now (maybe on one or two really unpopular figure choices), but I don't think you can equate an official WWE product with an independent line like this. These could be worth a fortune in a few years, or they could be worth what they are now. It's too soon to tell.

This seems like a healthy discussion but others may disagree. Let’s try to focus on figure news, reviews, and art work.

I like the line and I made that clear, my opinion is that anyone buying this thinking they will make more that $40 down the line is wrong in my view. If you read my words and not jump to your own conclusions you would see I encouraged anyone buying them to buy them for the love of the retros not for financial gain, if anything you were looking for negativity and translated as such. Again these are somewhat unofficial, retros are under the WWE banner and the distribution played a factor in their value. If you have bought for flipping more power to you, wishing you well.

Not interpretating anything. You have been not the biggest supporter of the line, yet, but very vocal on all those other issues that shall not be discussed here. Anyway, not here to dispute. Sorry if I come along this way, must be due to the foreign language. I have to agree, that I wouldn’t buy this line for flipping. Figures like Bravo may rise in value, but pretty sure there are also figures that will not go through the roof. However this is something you can say for almost every toyline. Buying for flipping is stupid. If people want more money they should improve on their skills and get a better paid job.

Well let me apologise if I come across as negative as I really just offer my viewpoint on how I see it. Again to be clear I hope to get some from the line now that UK shipping is happening but it’s simply because I am fans of particular guys. Namely Dino and Earl as they would fit in best with the Hasbros I own. Totally agree with your viewpoint on flipping dude. Are you completing the set or only getting certain guys? For me I would be looking forward to guys from 80s to about 95 (new generation), as to me that Hasbro era.

I have 2 full sets on order. Not sure how I will continue as I am not really into guys like Danhausen. Nothing wrong with the guy and all power to him for making his living with something he has a passion fir, but these indepent newer guys are simply not my cup of tea. Yet I have Chellas All Ego on order because I like their products alot so far and want to see how they evolve from figure to figure. However I usually buy 2 per figure, Ego I have just ordered once. So if ZST will manage to provide a good quality first wave, that I enjoy, I will most likely give in and order the second wave as a complete set aswell.

I couldn’t pull the trigger on all figures. As weird as it may sound, Earl Hebner just wasn’t for me. I understand that people want him, which is awesome, but, it just wasn’t for me. To each their own.
As I think about the other figures that will be released I often wonder if I want them or if I am just trying not to get FOMO. But, whatever the case, I will be picking and choosing the figs I want. I’ve done that with the Chella figs, too. I didn’t pre-order Bull. I don’t have any female Hasbros in my collection (not that there are any LoL) and we have no idea if any other female wrestlers are in the works.
Everything else so far I’ve picked up.
