That Mabel may be the best Hasbro-styled figure I've seen so far. Though, the Hayabusa one was damn near perfect.

I want stuff that fits in on a shelf with my Hasbro figs. And I also don't agree with the pod guys saying along the lines of, Oh, Hasbro would have evolved. No, no they wouldn't have. It was a toy line in the 90's, they would have still looked like toys, plus when you're reusing as many molds as possible, as they were by the end of the line, it would be pretty difficult to drastically change the feel of the line. If I wanted ultra realism, I'd be collecting the 6" lines.

I think Hastel is doing a way better job of keeping the hasbro style 100% this, although this recent price gouging stuff isn't going over well, so I hope he doesn't end up shooting himself in the foot because of it. I hope he keeps making these great figures. Zombie's earlier stuff I really liked, S1 and SDCC Jarrett, I thought were executed near perfectly. But, now starting with Series 2, eh, I'm not into the look of alot of them.

Is today the day that Mitch let down his ‘for the fans’ shield he hides behind to make a quick buck out of ‘fans’?
SDCC should be regarded as a highlight for ‘fans’ with releases like Zombie Sailor Toys ‘Bastian Booger’ or future Mattel releases, not a weekend to throw any rubbish down ‘fans’ throats..
Massively disappointing to witness..

If I wanted ultra realism, I'd be collecting the 6" lines. Exactly. The whole point in a Hasbro-like retro line is that we're wanting figures that closely resemble Hasbro WWF figures, which is what these lines were marketed as being. I don't understand the narrative that they'd have evolved. They didn't evolve and the line ended with the figures looking the same as they did when they were initially released. Had Hasbro actually took the line into the mid to late 90s, I suspect that they wouldn't be using the Hasbro style at all. Jakks figures were nothing like Hasbro, and Hasbro would've been looking to compete with other figures around at that time, including the OSFTM WCW figures which were changing from the LJN style into smaller articulated ones. These are supposed to look and feel as close to the Hasbro line as we can get, and that gets lost in translation sometimes, apparently.

90 is a huge number. 100 will be Sold out quickly no matter that...but not a nice move at All.
The Gang looks great, but will be in our hands a year from now.

Zombie says they're using pad printing now for the tattoos so they shouldn't peel like Danhausen.
