My priorities would be anything 89-94, so I'd really like Bob Backlund in blue trunks, Quebecers, updated Macho King/Macho Man, updated Bret/Shawn/Razor/Kid/Bulldog/Rude, heel Jake, Barbarian from singles run, Tito in white, Iraqi Slaughter, some of my top wants. I did leave off guys that are in the pipeline from the Chella off-shoots, ZST, Mitch etc. And I know Mattel already did it, but I wish Mitch or somebody could get ahold of Tugboat and do one that's more true to the Hasbro feel. Same goes for Hart Foundation Bret and Jim and USA Luger. Yes to all of these. Doesn't Zack Ryder have the original Tugboat Hasbro mold? If so, maybe someone can borrow it from him to do a 3-d scan so they can make figures of Tugboat. Though, they probably wouldn't be able to use the name Tugboat on the packaging, maybe they can call him Big Sailor Guy. Cardona would never help customs be made of any of his protos. But, it wouldn't be needed anyway, there have been good customs made, just someone needs the rights that would do the figure justice, thinking mainly Mitch at this point.

a Hart Foundation Bulldog would be great, but would be better if they could secure a few others like Pillman and Neidhart an Owen would be incredible, but I'm guessing AEW have full exclusivity locked up on that deal
Yeah, I still wish AEW would do Retros, there seems to be quite a few legends locked up with them like Arn, Tully, Dustin, Sting, and others. And even if they could do Owen, Martha won't allow WWF attires I don't think. Just a 96/97 Bulldog would work either way, since he didn't change his look much from Camp Cornette to Hart Foundation era. But, my preference would be the shorts and unbraided hair first. Yeah, a Brain Busters set would be amazing. Since all of the figures from the first two series of Hasbro's had attires from 1988 and 1989, they would fit in nicely with the line. My top choice for attire would be their Summer Slam 1989 tights: white on the front and red on the back. If not that one, I always liked their all-black attires. If we could get a Heenan figure in his black slacks and black Bobby Heenan coat/jacket, that would be great too. For me, if they were to do an Owen Hart figure, he would need to be in one of his WWF attires. I think that is how most fans identify with him. I'm not sure if it's Martha who doesn't want to use WWF attires, or that they would have to get WWE's permission to use them - which she would never do. One of his micro brawlers had a similar scheme to his WWF looks, but instead of "the Rocket" or the "King of Hearts" logos and decals on the tights, it had the Owen Hart Foundation logo on it. Though I think a 1997 Hart Foundation Set would be great, I would much rather have a 1994 set: Bret Hart (KOTR94), Davey Boy Smith (long blue "Bulldog" tights w/ unbraided hair), Owen Hart (either KOTR94 or SSL94), and Jim Neidhart (in either his all-pink 1994 attire or all-black 1994 attire, one to match Owen's).

That's where I come down pretty much too. I'd rather have stuff from 94' than 97'. I loved Bret's paint splatter singlets, and Owen in all pink from KOTR would be fabulous.

That is why we don’t get Sgt. Slaughter in the Big Rubber Guys line… oh wait…

I had the chance to see the Grapplers and Gimmicks prototypes in person this weekend and must say they looked amazing. I held the Men on a Mission figures in my hands and they were the closest things to real Hasbros by far. I already had MoM preordered but I think I’m gonna have to add Godwin’s, Duke, and Savio to the collection after seeing them. Mitch has some other hasbro era guys coming too that’ll fit right in!!

Great to hear! I really like the Ahmed, but the MoM look so much better yet. And you're right about him picking the right guys too. Mostly new gen, which I love, the stuff that would have come if Hasbro had the line for another couple years. And where he can get guys to fill in the Hasbro period like that Koko. Really good choices. I do get that other collectors are happy with other eras and promotions, but not me. No interest in attitude era, modern guys or ECW stuff.

Completely agree about the choices and nit being interested in attitude era, modern or ecw names. Love the eras but the should be jakks or mattel figs not retros for me

so it looks like Wrestling Megastars Series 2 are landing on doorsteps today, and social media is coming alive with pics and conversation about Haku and the bWo figures
and as if by magic, guess who pops up with another post to remind people he's part of the conversation....

An owner of a company promoting his figure line. Wow, put him in jail for that one.

the guy's basically a meme at this point

9/6 - “ Wrestling’s Heels and Faces series 2 are leaving our overseas factory in a few days!”
10/7 - “ These have finished production and are on their way to us from our overseas factory! Please be patient as Series 2 makes their long journey to us via boat“ this was 1 month after they were leaving the factory “in a few days”
Now today…”they will be in soon”
Let’s play ZST bingo…”soon” “few” “patience” all the non descriptive words which mean he can give an update while not actually saying anything
For those keeping count we are a couple of days shy of being 10 weeks from them leaving the factory “soon”. However on 22/5 when giving timescale of week of June 12th he said “They will arrive approx. 4-8 weeks after that via boat depending on port congestion” so why has it taken 10 weeks and counting?
Look how much grief Walmart, mattel etc get in the main forum for missing deadlines, moving dates etc. no reason these other companies - not just zombie but all of them - shouldn’t be held to the same standards. They’re charging £40 per figure, people have potentially hundreds of $ individually and thousands collectively paid into these figures. Hadn’t every company (bar G&G) overshot deadlines?
Although all being fair at least ZST is proving quality figures (albeit not perfect - sabu etc) over snd above his competitors

Well he needs to distract from the crapshow with the Impact figures. Conveniently placed too, it’s almost like they waited till there was some positive Epic news before trying to tarnish them (and Asylum for literally no reason)

I wouldn’t count the Impact figures getting cancelled as a positive.
“Where are the prototypes?’”
