All the prototype/ test shot stuff is of no interest to me personally; but that’s quite a collection that guy has. He seems to have epic Powers of Pain prototypes, and the abs look awful in my opinion….. Never noticed the abs. Not great/could be better. However, most will probably display them with their entrance gear which covers it nicely. Yeah, that’ll work for PoP; but epic may want to consider a different sculptor or get them to change it moving forward - it looks terrible! |

You weren't kidding! Just seen his Surfer Sting collection... Wow. And he's doing Galoob customs, too... Gonna have to get in touch with him. |

Jason has been around for some time. I enjoy a lot of his work. His painting skills aren’t at the level of some other customizers but for display purposes, he has been one of the best for a long time in my opinion. A lot of people have stolen his work over the years and it made him understandably bitter. Hopefully he is happier these days.

A lot of people have stolen his work over the years and it made him understandably bitter. Hopefully he is happier these days. Stolen is a little harsh, but he calls it that way. Putting a head on a different body is nothing you can call a copyright on it. The one thing I give him credit for is using the Jakks BC Kurrgan head for Jim Neidhart. Anything else is just a random custom. However his stuff improved since he owns a 3D scanner and a printer. He mirrored Doinks arm for the Blue Blazer for example. Mirroring arms however isn’t something he was dreaming about exclusively. It’s a logical choice if you have the options. |

No, like his legitimate artwork has been stolen and gone uncredited for years.  You can argue that it was stolen from Hasbro or whatever but it isn’t like he was making real money off of it…but now others have made money off of him doing prints, shirts, stickers, etc. |

The Gobblygooker front and center was also done by him. I've got Orient Express, Zeus, General Adnan, Col. Mustafa, and Sgt Slaughter in pre ring gear, & Battlekat by him. I have Damien Demento & The Genius on the way
I look at his customs a little differently than other Hasbro customs, because they generally aren't breaking/repainting existing figures to make them. He's molding & printing new parts. I hate Hasbro customs that destroy the original figures. But new 3D printed/resin molded figures aren't that much different than Zombie/Chella/etc

I recieved my ringside exclusive Epic toys/nerds retro style Takahashi figures today. Pretty good looking figure, the positions of the arms kinda suck cause it turns it into a statue like you can't do any other pose but the figure is good and very nice deco on it.

I love Hiromu but he doesn’t fit in my retro collection. Even if he did, that pose is absolutely terrible. Maybe I’ll pick one up if RSC throws these on super clearance. How is the figure scale-wise? |

You might be able to swap out the arms with arms from a different Chella/ epic figure….I know the Aldis’ head & arms come off easy enough; so might also be the case in other figures if any of them have arms you prefer? |
