Annoyed with myself that I didn’t order them, they look amazing. Am I right in thinking there are re paints to be shown at nycc? I’ll be definitely ordering those DM Mitch on social media. He is selling loose figures due to some of the packaging bubbles coming loose.

I haven’t had a chance to listen to the full story but apparently Ryback is getting a Heels and Faces figure. Limited to 1500 pieces according to Zombie.
Also, Series 2 H&F is waiting for its inspection so….yeah.

given that Zombie can't seem to sell out of his existing collection, and Ryback is hardly a popular fan favourite, that seems like it's 1250 too high!!!

Oddly, MOM Mo arrived today but no Mabel - I thought they were shopping together!?
Have emailed to query as I got a partial refund on Mabel for missing a discount code and will be sad if that somehow cancelled the order.
Edit: great customer service (R&R already replied) to inform me of the card/bubble issues.
Mattel’s arrived today too but can’t say I am a fan of the new slide on/off bubble.

Does anyone know if Mitch is selling the loose Mabel for a discount -- or if it's the exact same price. I'd buy it loose if the price was lower...

For me it was $80 shipped which I believe is slightly higher than the original price. It includes the card and the bubbles. Mitch was kind enough not to charge me any additional PayPal fees and I mean that with no sarcasm. I know we give the figure makers a lot of grief over their products (and justifiably so) but even when I offered to pay the fees, Mitch declined the extra money. Ultimately I’m happy with the figures even if I would have preferred them to be gold instead of Velveeta yellow. And yes, I would have preferred to pay LESS than $40 per opened figure but this seemed like the best option to get them after having passed on them. Maybe I’m just being grateful that he didn’t pull an Ahmed on me and charge double the price for the loose figure!

funny how everyone gave Chella so much abuse over the Adam Bomb card issue, but now people are taking it easy on Mitch for exactly the same issue - he cut corners (once again) and this happens

funny how everyone gave Chella so much abuse over the Adam Bomb card issue, but now people are taking it easy on Mitch for exactly the same issue - he cut corners (once again) and this happens I think there are a few reasons: 1) He addressed it immediately and went into action to remedy it. 2) It is an issue collectors know can happen so it’s less of a surprise. 3) They did a bubble test prior to having these shipped but there was still an issue for reasons unknown: www.instagram.com/reel/CwSmkz2pMt2/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==4) Overall, Mitch has given people less of a reason to dislike him. Sure, those small reasons all add up (the look of The Godfather, Ahmed’s shoulder split, Yellow on a Mission, price gouging, and so on). But he has also been extremely nice (even as an act) and easy to deal with. You can get ahold of him at pretty much any time. He is everywhere all at once. Check your cupboards, folks. With Chella, I think there was a good amount of resentment over delays (which is laughable now) and inconsistent communication. If you want to single out the MWFP for not giving him more grief in comparison, I think that would be a little unfair. Either you want them to as negative as possible or you want them to learn from their mistakes. I take no pleasure in defending the Major Machine but credit where credit is due: they have been a lot better about the things they were blasted for on this forum.

I sometimes wonder if some people do want them to be as negative as possible - that seems to be a reflection of a lot of people in this collector community! I don’t think I’ve ever encountered so much negativity in any other area of life!

Today, people are brought up to live for the “Ha! Gotcha!” moments in life…and the internet wrestling figure community is particularly bad about that. Most people enjoy a good roasting as well…so when you mix the two, it can have some really nasty consequences.

Just watched the Major discussion about the Men on a Mission figures, that DFreedom segment was just embarrassing.
I can understand criticism when it's warranted and the point about wrestling collectors just accepting anything nowadays might have some merit, but that all just seemed so petty and unnecessarily personal, rather than being about the figures. Is he always like that?
Yes, they should have been gold and no they don't have the Hasbro shine, but that was cringeworthy.

The Mabel figure is getting some attention because it just isn't as bad as the rest. It feels like the first thought about theses figures is often "how bad is it"? before people queue up again for the next round of nonsense.
