People on social media act like this girl was determining who was winning or losing matches when in reality, she was probably just coming up with skits and a few promos here and there. Should she probably have known the bigger names? Yeah. But on-the-job training is a thing. That said, most of the newbie writers don't work directly with the top guys anyway. Case in point, the [new at the time] writer who pretty much only wrote the Mandy/Otis/Sonya/Dolph angle leading into 'Mania 36 before she got released during last year's COVID cuts. (PS: She had no background in wrestling and pretty much everyone I've seen has praised that angle.)
For those saying "they should hire bookers or wrestling fans", there's a reason why WWE are hiring people like Kenice Mobley to write for them instead of the hardcore fans who are fantasy booking their "Let's put all the African-Americans in a faction" or "43 year old CM Punk returns and wins the WWE Championship" angles for the 400th time. For people saying that hardcore fans should be writing the shows, go search up WhatCulture Pro Wrestling on Youtube and see some of the dreck they booked. Other than Michael Hayes and Road Dogg, the wrestling veterans are usually hired solely to agent the matches, not write scripts. Hell, Mick Foley's kid is the head writer for one of the 458 shows that WWE is producing every week.

He eventually felt he had no choice but to leave due to the working environment being what it is.

So you dont want to see The Forgotten Sons feud with an alliance consisting of the Hurt Business, New Day, Omos and Apollo Crews Nigerians?

Shouldn't have got fired, it's their fault for hiring her in the first place. They're not looking for fans, and that's fine. But don't speak publicly making the product look stupid because you don't care to know the name of the main character you're writing for. Hopefully fans will leave her alone now. Not likely, but one can dream. She is an inadvertent whistleblower that has shun further light on what is a fragmented system this sums it up nicely.

If you say you shouldn’t mention something on a recorded podcast I feel like that’s the time to ask the host to cut that part before they release it. Would’ve still had a job if she used her head.

She lost her job because she did the podcast. That company wants their writers to be virtually unknown to the public.

Several people have said that while it’s not her fault they hire people that don’t know the business, it is her fault she made her and the company look foolish. “I’m getting paid 3x what I was and don’t know the product.” Also imagine being a talent that would have to take ideas from her. How insulting that would be. If she left out the stuff about her incompetence it may have ended better for her, but I’m pretty sure it’s in most big company contracts that you can’t just divulge company practices and whatnot. Also just all around bury her, the company, and the talent. Have you seen her Twitter? She wasn’t going to last long anyways.

Back when more writers were being signed in the early 2000s, some were assigned with specific wrestlers to come up with stuff for them. Rikishi asked the person who was assigned to write for him: "Are you familiar with my work?" They replied no, so he said "Then you won't be writing for me."

They wear suits and they’re like we’re cool.” An 8 year old could come up with a better description…

This is more WWE's fault than anything else.
