Looks like they finally got the correct Hogan skintone, but I just wish it was a more traditional version (white wrist tape instead of the yellow wristband). Oh well, I'm sure we can bet on more UE Hogans. the wristbands appear to be removable, so maybe mattel will make it a 2 in 1 and put the white wrist tape underneath. ahh who am i kidding, no they won’t |

Cool they finally got the skin tone right. That said, easy pass for me. I want Mania 6 or Backlash 02 Hogan. Rip, do Rip as an Ultimate.
Ready to see these get going, though. The more Ultimates, the better. Just seems like all of these fan votes have been meh. I would rather see them stay the course. Do Kane and Taker, Razor and Diesel, another Bret and Shawn. More Flair and Austin type sets. Less asking “fans.”

Why though? This one looks like something I already have. I would like them to take another crack at Hollywood. I don’t love the one we got I can't really see where this one fits into my collection. I already have the HOF Hulk on my 93 WWF shelf. The UE torso seems too bulky to me to early WCW Hulk when he was off the gas and looked really lean. And there will be better fits for a 90/91 figure. As a pure novelty item, I really want the black eye head. But I don't know that I want it $30 worth. |
