I just used guy that had American gimmick or just flat out talked about loving America

I picked "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan.
He was all for USA even back in 1983 in Mid South when he went from heel to face because DiBiase was aligning himself with Skandor Akbar and Duggan didn't want anything to do with that.
Then the guy would eventually carry the USA flag to the ring in the WWF, he wore USA colours from time to time, he just seemed like the guy that the anti-American's faced before they would face a Hogan, or Warrior, or Luger.

Trying to avoid guys who basically used the “I Love USA” gimmick just to push them further as a babyface (i.e. Cena, Hogan, Luger).
For me its gotta be Angle, Duggan was the only other close vote for me.

Kurt Angle won for America. He made it to the very top in a profession he didn’t really know much about. He over achieved and became great. Then he fought addiction and alcoholism. All while still being great at his job. Then it left him a shell of his former self and broken.
That’s pretty god damn American to me.
